Yes.
Is it a world of Technology?

"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Yes, the technology is very advanced, moreso than Earth's.
Are there magic users on it as well?

...ehehdefine "Technology". Firemaking is a from of technology
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.'d!
Your standard Sci-Fi world.
Yes.
What is the relationship between magic and technology here?

The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.Coexistant, but on different planes of existence. (E.g. you can't just weld it together Magitech style.)
I'll take that

I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.Ok never mind about the ninja thing.
Long ago, they used to work together in harmony and peace. However, one fateful night, a schism began, dividing the worlds of magic and technology, leading to an ancient blood feud that lives on to this day.
What exactly happened that caused the schism?

i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartLong ago the god/gods grew angry at humanity's hubris and split the mind of humans from the spirit, making the two mental disciplines unable to be processed at one time.
Is there a single god or more than one? Or something more complicated?
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world. All we know is that there is at least 3 gods. And even one of them has a bit of a skeptical existence.
Who are the three confirmed gods, and which one are the people suspicious about the existence of?
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.One for the physical realm, one for the spiritual, and one for the mental. The physical one is doubted.
What is the relationship of these three to each other?
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.Ah man I had a really cool thing planned for the God/gods.
They are all siblings, save for the physical one, who was disowned from the family long ago.
Why was the physical god disowned?
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartHe/she/it slew the Demiurge, the parent of the three, and created the physical world from its corpse.
Do the gods have gender?
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world. That's up for in-universe debate.
What else do the mortals argue about?

The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.And that's actually exactly what I had planned.
They argue about literally everything, thanks to the blood feud.
Have there been any major wars in this world's history?
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartMore than can be counted.
Is the world populated by humans?
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.Yes, mostly ones who use augmentations to survive attacks by the harsh wildlife.
Are there gianormous, mutated fusions of Earth creatures as fauna?
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Yes. Yes, there are.
Are there giant, carnivorous bastardizations of Earth plants as flora?
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartYes, and they just love to feed on the few unlucky humans who walk near them.
Is the world mostly jungle, with a few highly technologically advanced human city settlements pocketed around?
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015No to the first, yes to the second. The world has many climates, but all are dangerous and unforgiving.
Is there a price to magic?
that last few questions are very leading. I'll allow it this time, but tone it down

I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.Yes. It erodes the user's soul if they use it too much.
How advanced are the weapons of the humans?
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Wow, double ninja'd.
The magic users carry extremely primitive weapons, for better survival in the jungles and/or to better channel their magicks. The technology users, on the other hand, carry extremely advanced weaponry, which can devastate entire cities if used incorrectly.
Can the mortals communicate, whether directly or indirectly, with their gods?
edited 20th Aug '14 7:52:18 PM by bRaHiAn1
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartYes, but the gods never answer direct communication, and are cryptic and often intentionally unhelpful.
Is humanity united?
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.No. Each city is it's own separate nation, and since there have been wars in the past, not all of them are friendly toward each other.
What kind of government do the human cities run?
edited 20th Aug '14 7:56:58 PM by TheHailStormer
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015It varies by city. Everything from full blown, all inclusive Athenian style democracy to absolute rule by a computer, to theocracies led by priests who attempt to rule based on what they can learn from the gods.
Are there limits to the gods' power?
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world. The gods only have power within their realms; the mental god cannot control anything outside the mental realm, while the spiritual god rules only the spiritual realm, and the physical god only has power over the physical realm. Also, none of these gods can create nor destroy any form of matter. It was believed that their parent possessed limitless power over all realms, but alas it is long dead.
Have the people of this world managed space travel?

We're gonna create a world collaboratively in this thread. Here's how it's gonna work:
Player one asks a question about said world. Player two answers it. Questions can be open-ended or yes/no. Questions can not be leading, or establish information that hasn't already been established in an answer. Also NO CONTRADICTING PREVIOUS ANSWERS. This includes making exceptions to things previously stated to be impossible.
For example:
If we've already established that there's a river kingdom, it has a queen, and she's immortal, this is a Good question. If not, this is a Bad question.
Facts so far:
I'll start.
Do a god/gods exist?
