I've always felt weird about trope names that are basically statements (i.e. police are useless, teens are monsters, all Christianity is Catholic, etc.), and though I feel that this trope's name is a "little" bit offensive because of that, the main issue is that the name doesn't even get to the point.

Looking at the name alone, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that the trope is about the Christian God (Though "god" could refer to just about any divine being, what religion would you think of if you saw the word, capitalized too, in a sentence?), even though the description makes it clear that's not the case. That's the problem; the name and description don't match up.

The first sentence (as it is now) is "This trope comes into play when the supreme deity of a given setting is not just a mere jerkass — he/she/it is actively malevolent, a jealous, callous, sadistic, monstrous tyrant who created the world or universe to be such a miserable Crapsack World, preparing Disproportionate Retribution and an Easy Road to Hell for everybody else.", and I think the concept could be summed up in a less offensive and more clear way through a name like "Negative Divine Depiction" or "Deviously Divine".

Declining to Open.

There is nothing ambiguous about the name, nor is there anything offensive about it. The trope is "The god (Big-G or little-g, it doesn't matter) of this world is malevolent, cruel or just flat out evil."

I don't see how a name like "Deviously Divine" or "Negative Divine Depiction" is any clearer.

Additionally, the "G" in "God" in the name is capitalized because 1) it's the first letter of the first word of a sentence, and 2) because standard capitalization practice is to capitalize all words except articles and preposition in a title. And because that how you make a wiki word.
