Midna's true form could be the new weapon in the TP pack. One of Link's weapons having you control the Great Fairy, shows that alternate weapons can completely change your character's appearance.

It's too bad that it seems the Majora's Mask pack doesn't come with any weapons, because the Fierce Deity Mask as a new weapon for Link would've been pretty awesome...

If the world is just and kind, Tingle WILL be a playable character! He's perfect for a fighting clown role.

I'm just sad no Skyward Sword pack. Someone really needs to let the Groose loose.

The list of characters I'd want before Tingle is very long, but since the guy got a spinoff game and everything, he's probably in.

For the MM pack, Tingle definitely should be there. Not sure on the second one, though.

Anyone else here in Australia planning on getting this tomorrow?

My thought for who was likely was Skull Kid and Tingle, but now I'm not sure. Odolwa might be cool if they want more antagonists, or Mikau, or the Goron guy if they want one that emphasizes rolling more than standing in place and hammering, or the big dead guy from Ikana Valley, or Romani if they want to experiment more with ranged fighters and aliens.

What would Tingle do, I wonder? Could he have gimmicks that hinge on how many rupies you've collected in the current battle? That might be kind of neat.

I can totes see Tingle incorporating a comical Big Ball of Violence somehow.

We got a Goron and Zora. Plus, we have someone using Deku powers. I have a feeling those races are far less likely.

I could see a Gibdo maybe. There was a half-Gibdo in MM and all. He'd be a hilarious to play as character. I forgot his name, though. With a half-Redead skin. So to speak on the term.

I agree that they're unlikely, but Mikau and Darmani could be very different from Ruuto and Darunia. For all we know they could want to have varied examples of the different species in Hyrule. Obliterating hordes of monsters by wailing on a fishbone guitar would be grand.

Also, I was disappointed by the relative lack of rolling with Darunia, and Darmani could make up for that.

One of their weapons could be their potions. I'm sure they could brew up ones that don't heal.

I've got to say, I really enjoy playing as Sheik. She moves like a river through the forest, except with pain instead of water.

I got this today. My favorite character to play as so far is Fire Rod! Link. I'm really enjoying it so far, which is great because I was a little worried about how much I would like it considering I've never really played any hack and slash games before.

And now, a word from Nintendo of Europe.
