i see none of you are talking about the wonderousness of Din with the Rod of Seasons.
imagine being able to switch the rod's elements
imagine dumping a ton of leaves on enemies
imagine creating a giant thunderstorm
imagine making a giant flower erupt from underneath enemies
imagine Din in 3D

Racking up KO's with a boxing kangaroo.
Speaking of Oracles I'm at the point in Legends where I can get Seeds for fairy food. Only Pegasus and Ember so far, but I hope they have all five.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobIt'd be really awesome, but Nintendo's current policy seems to be "what? Capcom dev'd some Zelda games? That never happened!"
I sure said that!I don't know, they have some Oracle items as Fairy Food, they just don't seem on the short list for the get more characters scheme of things.

How well does Hyrule Warriors Legends run on a 3DS/3DS XL? I'm aware that it runs better on the New 3DS, but how playable is it on an older 3DS model, accounting for slow down and less enemies onscreen at least?
Enjoyment and Excitement!Chugs like a bitch and you're lucky if it holds 15 frames per second with more than one or two models on-screen. It works but it just barely works.
I sure said that!I might have to pass on it then; not in a position to afford a New 3DS at the moment.
Enjoyment and Excitement!the fact that they made it for normal 3ds feels more like a joke
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaFrom what I've heard it has a few issues running on the New 3DS as well.
Enjoyment and Excitement!yeah but its at least playable
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaIt runs into occasional issues regarding displaying grunts and Giant Bosses, but it mostly runs at a smooth framerate and handles ittslef competently. Don't go in expecting a 1:1 downscaling of the Wii U version and it's fine.
I sure said that!I keep saying that Groose would use a wooden Power Armor version of the Groosenator.
The actual catapault part would be back-mounted, and he'd have some other doodads like spring-loaded fists or wheels that come out of his feet. It would be awesome.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Man, I hope for the next DLC maps they either do what the Great Sea did and make it so you easily get the items you need along the way or just make it so you can have infinite amount of each item but have to get them from one space.
Cause MAN is Termina and Twilight grindy as fuck.
@2625 I'm in favor of the primary weapon being distinct for each character, and Zant already has dibs on scimitars. Though I like the idea of someone sporting magical armor as their equipment; that might work for a fist-focused fighter.
@2626 Hrm... even better idea - Groose carries around the arm of the Groosenator like a great club, and some of his finishers are loading enemies into it and flinging them around (similar to what Wizzro and Midna do in a couple of their finishers). Because of the aerial component, you could then even make him Lightning-element with a couple of Fire finishers (the ones where he loads out a few bombs).
@2627 Uh... don't we kind of already have that in Sheik's moveset?
@2631 Even on the New 3DS, there are some issues with how many enemies render at once. It's not uncommon for enemies to suddenly appear right where an area of effect attack should have hit them (Ruto in particular is aces at discovering enemies that should have been hit by her attacks). Annoyingly, captain-level enemies are subject to this as well; more than once, I've had to run around in a circle or knock off a bunch of mooks to make a captain appear... this includes Outpost Captains and Keep Bosses. Commanders and Giant Bosses are exempt; they show up from a distance as usual. I've seen videos of people playing it on 3DS classic; it seems almost a chore.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Considering the next DLC map is Wind Waker Master Quest, you're in luck.
I sure said that!I've been playing on old 3DS for a while now (I broke my New 3DS in a very dumbass way and can't afford a new one at the present) and it is rather difficult, even after spending so long with it. The camera control with c-stick is sorely missed. Enemies pop in and out of existence when they please, and rarely spawn enough to get the required KO's without sacrificing your time or getting a fairy's help.
I've also had problems with enemies getting randomly shifted out of a weapons range; I'm not sure if it's a problem exclusive to old 3DS, but it's made characters like Rod Zelda or the Great Fairy damn hard to play with.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobI don't know which is better; Fi's graceful end-of-battle animation while wearing the Stone Mask, or Cia's fanservicey one with Majora's Mask.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobSo Legends actually seems easier and faster than Wii U. Or maybe it's just because I'm still on the first map. But the Imprisoned is still way easier to kill now, even if it is still a big stupid worm.
I hate seeing that empty space on my warrior select screen. I want to fill it all up. Though, with upcoming DLC, might it probably be larger than just 25 warriors?
We know of, I think, 5 characters who are going to be added. Medli, Marin, someone from the Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks pack, and 2 people from the Link Between Worlds pack.
Also, Linkle's getting a new weapon in the LA pack, and Toon Link will get a new weapon in the PH/ST pack.

I have a message from another time...If its not Linebeck for the Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass pack I will be genuinely baffled
Please let it be Linebeck , and a Flute weapon for Toon Link, causing Phantom armor Zelda to fight in his place.
I have a message from another time...I'll be forever sad without Makar. Putting in Medli without him is so asymmetrical. xp
Link Between Worlds? Ravio, Hilda, and/or Yuga.
It is a travesty that we have Medli without Makar. And a bit odd given how Medli uses wind magic instead of earth magic.
Yes, it is nice to have company in my fan rage.
But I think it makes sense. Medli's a Rito, Rito are flyers and wind is equated with lightning. I'm not sure what element Makar would have...water? The Deku Staff is water. And there are are so few water weapons.
But if Groose had mini bomb catapults then I'd have to choose between him and Linkle. And I mean Groose is a great guy and all but he's not beating out her in my heart.
I still like the idea of him being a bare-knuckle memetic badass (with, I dunno, an accessory for a 'weapon' like Ruto's Scales. Maybe a tiny bird that sits on his pompadour and gets progressively more sillier-looking with each upgrade). Or a Loftwing moveset like what was brought up earlier. Or just using some of SS Link's weapons like the Beetle or Mitts. Or-
