The twist is... you're playing as Purple guy this time... and you're in hell

I just watched the first half of Mat Pat's part to his theory video.

Someone play Phoenix Wright music to this video or something. That twist with the "Happy Birthday" banner blew my mind to the stratosphere...

I just watched the first part myself, but there was one thing that I said "Wait, this doesn't make sense": His claim that the tapes are all pre-recorded from the first or second restaurant (Fredbears or the First Freddy Fazbears). That would mean the Night Six tape from 2 is referring to another incident, but then why would that be recorded? In fact, why would that ever be played again? Why would that be in the Company's tape files and how could it be played specifically on a night you're not supposed to be there? And no, I wouldn't take a "The Company is bad" excuse.

Also, I'm still against the idea that Phone Guy is the murderer.

Could be explained that messages 3-6 in FNAF 3 were recorded on that day.

And one more thing: What if the "summer job" mentioning could coincide with the police convicting the "killer" in June? That means, going by the assumption in my first sentence of this post, the messages for Night 3+ would be referring to a different incident, which would point to The Bite of '87, which could say it already happened!

But mostly, I concur: The fandom is bent on proving that we've already met, or in this case heard, the Purple Guy, not even thinking that it could be a complete stranger.

EDIT: Hold it, I just noticed something that's just...off. In the message for Night 6, Phone Guy says that the place is closed down, at least for a while, yet they still have one more birthday party booked? What gives?

Guys, ya know how the FNAF3 Minigames had a blue Bonnie despite the location looking like the first game?

Thing is though, the blue Bonnie sprites have very bent ears while Toy Bonnie has almost straight up ears and of course, white mouth/torso markings.

That is when Nightmare Bonnie appeared.◊

A purple leaning blue, no white markings and very very bent ears.

Was it me?

@Dingo: The evidence in the first game suggests the animatronics overwhelmed Phone Guy, so he can't be Springtrap or the Purple Guy.

Plus the theory about Jeremy being the Purple Guy is off as well.

At worst he is a minor criminal, and best the facial recognition software isn't 100% at night. I doubt that Jeremy is the villain.

Since Phone Guy and Jeremy are out, and the Fright guard and Mike are innocent, that leaves only one other possible suspect... Fritz Smith. He killed the children, replaced Jeremy after he left, dismantled the Toy animatronics and BB, then left with the Freddy mask after getting fired. After he came back, he used the Freddy mask to look like a purple Freddy to the robots. And then everything falls into place.

Or maybe the murderer doesn't have to be a character we've met.

Err... How exactly does that exonerate him...?

It doesn't. I just see it as far more likely than Purple Guy is Jeremy. I mean why would he join the place if he was the murderer?

Eh I would say that Nightmare Bonnie looks worse then Withered Bonnie. Atleast with Withered Bonnie you could identify it as Bonnie. Nightmare Bonnie just looks wrong, those teeth do not even look like they even fit correctly in his mouth.

And who the fuck would give the endoskeleton sharp looking shark teeth? Whomever created these new animatronics must be working for a scarehouse or a horror movie se, or something. There is no way in hell they would get away with all the freaky extra teeth and Freddy headfs and what not in another children's restaraunt. It was implied very heavily that Foxy and Mangle made the parents uneasy because of there teeth and there teeth isn't even close to as bad as the Nightmare's teeth

Mr. Purple created these two abominations from scratch, behind the employees' backs. When he lured the children into the back room, he sicced the two monsters on them.

Yeah, it's irrelevant, but hey...

In response to , I highly doubt Purple Guy knows how to build custom Animatronics, especially ones that can kill people.

I think they're from Fredbear's Diner. It would explain why they're even more dangerous and less friendly looking, as safety standards were different then and 'appeal' didn't exist at the time.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what Scott does with this then. We still have 4 more months until he releases the game. I am going to make a bet though that those two are probably not the only animatronics we'll see at this rate.

I think the thing that disturbs me the most about this is that we simply have no clue how those things came to be or why the hell someone would make them like that. Hell we have no clue how FNAF 4 is going to go at all. The state of those animatronics possibly suggest that this will take place after FNAF 3 so the children should be gone and Springtrap might of survived (it's not clear if his head just survived or if his whole body did). And even if he survived I doubt someone would of taken him at the auction considering his suit has a body in it.

Either which way this new guard is looking to be living in a hell worst then all of the previous...

I'm still going on the "Its in your mind the whole thing" nightmare wmg theory I posted earlier that nobody cared to give me feedback on whether I successfully imitated horror movie sequels since I don't actually watch horror movies

Someone came up with the that the Murderer is using the remote to tweak animatronic behaviour to make them gradually more aggressive from the safety of the secret Safe Rooms, and leaves the remote out somewhere to let the security guards find it, try it, and get fired for tampering with the animatronics.

So I guess we'll be seeing Nightmare Chica and Nightmare Foxy soon.

TBH these new designs are a tad over the top. Maybe the Guard in this is the Purple Guy whose trapped in some sort of Ironic Hell where he has to fight off the Nightmare Animatronics every night?

I kinda wish we could see more of the Toy animatronics. I like their design but I feel like they got the short end of the stick story- (and gameplay-) wise.

They really do need to make Chica a nightmare form. I haven't found any of her forms scary at all.
