wow that gif sure is broken
In general, I found the jumpscares in Fna F 2 to be a lot less threatening. I guess they're a lot slower and the noise is certainly easier on the ears.

Like he's been waiting for this moment for a long time.
They're not too bad, unless it's Foxy jumping at you the second your mask comes off.
Meh, I personally found the jumpscares in the first game were not scary at all
Foxy and Old Bonnie's death animations have actually made me jump (the latter usually because Old Bonnie can actually trick you by grabbing you after it seems like you managed to escape) though. I also find Golden Freddy's death animation is less....amateurish this time around (a still image pops up with what sounds like a Wookie roaring never really scared me to much)

I was referring to #2.
Forgot to add 2 extra arrows
I dunno... playing the sequel (or prequel, whatever) so far I have yet to actually jump at a jump scare. As soon as I see the first frame of the animation it's just, "Oh, this is happening," and then the animatronic slowly moves towards the screen with a somewhat annoying noise. In the first game, the animations were jerky and sudden with a LOUD death scream. The faces of the animatronics were always frantically moving and the screen shaking doesn't help. Of course, Foxy is an exception. His death screen was just disappointing. I somewhat agree about Golden Freddy though. Rather than a still image with a loud moan, it's a zooming image with the same death scream. I think a lot of the fear from Golden Freddy in the first game came from the fact that nobody knew who he was, nobody ever would've guessed that there was a secret animatronic who could crash their game. Don't get me wrong, Fna F 2 is a good successor to the original, but the jumpscares just aren't as scary in my opinion. Fear is subjective, so if you find Fna F 2 to be more frightening, then it is what it is.
tl;dr: I find that Fna F 2 doesn't have as scary jumpscares, but the game is fine anyways. Fear is subjective, so there is no definite way to say what is TRULY more frightening.
Basically, we need to invent Spook-o-meters to measure this shizzzz

I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579i find the sequel to be far more terrrifying, because it turns me into an utter wreck like "HES TRIGHRG HREER Sa VE ME"
Oh, for sure. The sequel has a way more frightening atmosphere. I was just talking about the jumpscares.
I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579Found another fanmade song made by another brony for FNAF 2, in this case Bon Bon is singing this time along with the rest of the Toy Series (although the original gang appears in one of the shots and you can hear Old Freddy laughing at a different point....). Potrays the new bots thinking that the guard is a endoskeleton with a little flesh in him.
It also appears that The Living Tombstone is going to make a FNAF 2 song.

I just realized something: Chica is simply not scary, especially when compared to the other main three, or Marionette. She needs a serious creepy factor added to her.

Chica's creepy factor (in the first game at least) was the double row of teeth.
Technically though, they all had 2 rows of teeth, it's just that they where most visible on the open jawed Chica.
And compared to Eyeless/Faceless Bonnie, Freddy's "Hiding in the Shadow" approach and intimidating stature, and Foxy's "Run For it" attitude, Chica's Teeth aren't that scary...
I thought her teeth were super creepy. Way more than Foxy, anyways.
I think Chica's supposed to be ironic scares. Looking at her you can tell she's probably the comic relief of the original trio, of the fat and hungry variety. So when the lights go out, that bib that once informed her as a humorous character, is now going to eat YOU.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Greatand also she has that freaky stare in one of the stills
gives me willies
Man fuck that noise. You couldn't pay me enough to play this game through Oculus Rift
Oh really when? For maximimum spook, play with Rift and surround headphones inside a dark room.
