Huh, reviewing over that cut scene it sounds like Michael/Springtrap might hunt down his father himself (whom we presume is still at large) .
Which could be good ( As he himself might kill him for getting him stuck in Springtrap and or scooped) or really really bad.....

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothScott confirmed that the Custom Night cutscenes themselves are canon.
I laughed.
I can recognize Cube Watermelon art from a mile away.
Reddit user SenshiOfSadness has made a theory they don't support, but I think might be the most convincing theory for FNaF's overall lore currently. It explains almost everything that didn't quite add up about Five Nights at Freddy's 4 for example.
The one thing that's always had me thinking re: the SL ending. How can we be sure Michael isn't speaking to Springtrap as opposed to speaking as Springtrap? Because that was my first thought at the time.
There are two new books coming this year, one in June and one in July.
The June one is a sequel to The Silver Eyes called "The Twisted Ones." July's book is "Five Nights at Freddy's: Guidebook" which according to the Scholastic catalog description will contain never before seen information about the series' story and development and a "sneak peak at what's next for Freddy's."
Isn't Scholastic best known for publishing kids' books?
Five Nights At Freddy's isn't any gorier than Animorphs.
True. It's more that you don't think "children's book" when you think of FNAF. maybe young adult...
Scholastic does publish some YA novels too, though. The Hunger Games, for example.
FNAF World is out on mobile in some capacity.
Scott just wants to be done with it, evidently.
Here's the Steam post by Scott. Update 3 isn't happening.
This account is dead. I’ve said a lot of dumb things in the past and I wish to forget them. I’m sorry if I’ve ever hurt anyone. So, timeline wise, how would you order the games?
FNAF 4 Sister Location FNAF 2 FNAF 1 FNAF 3
(I'm chucking #4 before the others as it appears to feature a fully functioning, popular Freddies, which doesn't fit the decline years of 1 &2. There's also the monitoring the FNAF 4 house in Sister Location, tho I'm not sure that's canon)
Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellI'm thinking 2 and 4 happened at the same time, then 1, then Sister Location, then 3.
It's been 3000 years…Assuming the cut scenes are canon, isn't Sister Location the origin of Purple guy? So HAS to be first, pretty much...

Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellI didn't put the DLC cutscenes into consideration, so I suppose it'll be Sister Location, 2 and 4, 1, 3, and then the ending cutscene for Sister Location's 20*10 mode.

It's been 3000 years…I think FNAF 4 came first, then 2-1-3. Sister Location happens between 2 and 3.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Five Nights at Freddy's: The Twisted Ones has a cover and plot summary on Amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/Five-Nights-Freddys-Twisted-Ones-ebook/dp/B01N9XDVTF/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1486174240&sr=1-1&keywords=the+twisted+ones
It appears to be a Silver Eyes-canon adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's 4
One year after the events of the Silver Eyes, Charlie is haunted by nightmares of twisted versions of the Freddy's animatronics and Springtrap/William Afton. When a series of gruesome murders that match the attacks in her dreams occur in her town, she begins to wonder if the Nightmare Animatronics are Real After All.

Personally, I initially took the cutscene to be Michael talking to his father, who was Purple Man, who in turn was in Springtrap, and that Michael's next goal would be to track down Springtrap.
EDIT: Has anyone posited the idea that Sister Location's Purple Man is, in fact, the Puppet? The post-Ennard vomit physique would appear to fit. Alternatively, if he is Springtrap, it would explain why his discoverers were suspicious by the presence of organs inside him, because they weren't there.
