You'd have to ask them to find out for sure. I say they just want to have something new and get kids to play on their website.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI wouldn't watch this. Looks uninteresting.
Supports cartoons being cartoony!Your choice. I could take it or leave it.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt doesn't look terrible or anything though. The art style is refreshing and nice.
Supports cartoons being cartoony! That's what I thought after watching it. It looks nice, but it just seems rather cliche with the new kid and oddball duo that's been done to death.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI liked it. It was kind of like one of those kids' adventure novels but turned into an animated series.
"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"I just noticed the animation reminds me a little of Breadwinners.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceHow is releasing a promising show online "hiding it from the public"? Are you aware of just how many people use streaming sites and mobile apps?
Are you aware of how many adult fans would actually go on Nick.com just to see this show?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice...Uh, NOT MANY?
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Haha nope.
majority of people who are on nick.com are preteens

Supports cartoons being cartoony!Preteens wouldn't care about how this series differs from say "Fairly Oddparents", they just see another boy-centric fart humor cartoon, but to me, and probably a few others, this series is probably what The Modifyers could have been.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI would not go making that assumption unless this is really that good...
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Chapter 2: We meet Oliy's little sis, Saraline, who is The Smart One. And apparently, The Wayne is home to an organization of special junior ops, Just like Kids next door. And boy, Oliy is a dumbass. Also, we learn the suitcase MAY holds the artifact, The arc sign, which may lead to even bigger missions. And this episode literally ends on a cliffhanger.
Chapter 3: Ansi is now getting use to his life here, and is also a Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass. Also, the spies actually are working for someone else, but who???
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceYou're just prong my point with those hidden summaries, m8... And I know you didn't mean to, either.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Prong? What do you mean?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice*Proving... is what I meant to say.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.What point were you making? I said this series has as much potential as what we would want if say "The modifyers" was a full show. Sad that it's boy-centered, but still worth giving a go.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt is??? Dammit. I must see it someday, then.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.
First off, yes, I still stand by my opinion that Nick is "in the red" for quality and desperate for an audiance, and what they did to their last good show is unforgivable, but then things like this are what keeps me thinking Nick has potential, but keep it hidden from the public.
"Welcome to the Wayne" is Nick's first web series about two boys, Ansi and Oily, who have fantastic advetures in a hotel named The Wayne. This season, the duo must return a breifcase that's filled with secrets to a famous explorer, but doing so puts them in harm's way with a secret organization.
So far, it feels like they're copying Gravity Falls with the plot, but the animation is nice to look at, so I may keep following this, just to see where this goes. Your thoughts?
