Notes with duplicate text not working right

So I've noticed on a few pages here and there that whenever two notes^note like this on the same page share the same text, clicking either one just toggles the one that's higher up on the page, instead of the one that you clicked on^note like this. Obviously this isn't great, especially for long pages where it's hard to find the first one again to see what it said.

This has been an issue ever since the system was put in place.

The current workaround is to change the text to not be the same. :)

There's another workaround: use [[labelnote:note]] in addition to [[note]], though even that only increases the limit by one.
