No, they've copied the first movie.

Iron Man makes suicide move when he throws problem into space to turn off army in the streets but another Avenger catches him.
Oh, that. Well to be fair, that's only loosely similar and happens in very different circonstance... except for the Hulk save scene, I think? I kinda remember something similar happened...
Avengers Assemble lifted a lot of things from the movie including lines, jokes and moments. Not to mention the appearance of characters as the resent Ultron Revolution season is doing. Simply just compare Ultron in season two to Ultron in the current one and notice how more James Spadery the character became.
This show definitely took a lot of cues from the movie, but instead of trying to act like its own thing it is pretty much acting like a continuation to the films (or at least one of many possible branch as to where the story continues). Really I enjoy the show as being a (pseudo) continuation to the films instead of a show set in its own continuity but references the films heavily, it actually saves some of the trouble for the writers in deciding what their continuity is meant to be as that is the main problem I find with Avengers Assemble (is it a continuation to the movies, the show EMH, Ultimate Spider-Man or just its own thing; choose one and stick with it).
True, but for the most part they took only superficial elements, like the designs, lines or voices. Granted, they made them painfully blatant to the point the show hardly felt like it's own thing, but they never went as far as lifting an entire ending from the movie.
Well, this was fun:
Huh? This has third season?
They launched Ultron into the sun in the movie?
I should really rewatch it
