Knowing that this exists makes the Family Guy episode about Jerome Hilariousin Hindsight. Because they have a gag about black Jesus.

It was a lot better than I'd thought it'd be. Jesus is an overall good dude, which is the way I usually like him portrayed even if I don't follow his ways.

I'm religious. My problem with this has NOTHING to do with him being black. That is the wrong thing. My problem is that Mc Gruder is only doing this to push buttons. He WANTS to offend Christians. I dare him to make a movie solely to offend Muslims.

Well, I think most American's knowledge of Islam is pretty superficial. And I'd think it'd get stale pretty fast if you didn't know anything about imams, the Hajj, Mecca, sects and so on. I only know some of these things because of Crusader Kings 2. It wouldn't surprise me if Americans knew more about Scientology than the actual tenets of Islam, which would also ring true for me.

Eventually you'd have to rely on humor like Mecha-Shiva,(a show I would love to watch) which is more about the absurdity of it than Hinduism.
