Generally, bad parodies are not funny, even if they did do the research.

That is apparently a genre of music. I've actually seen an album called "Sounds of 70s Adult Cinema."

He could potentially get a job and save up enough money to pay for it himself with a little donation help. that would be the sensible path, but i honestly don't think enter is passionate enough about animation to go that far.

i have absolutely no idea how much an animator (or an animation group) would charge for an 11 minute pilot. there's no way he would be able to afford tv quality animation, but i would imagine getting something reasonably presentable done would not be out of his reach if he worked a minimum wage job for 2-3 years and saved up most of the money.

I'd like to mention that most pilots submitted to Nick and CN, at least the ones I've seen, were under seven minutes long, and when used in a series that had 11 minute episodes, were either extended to fit the length (Aaahh Real Monsters) or had extra material added to fit the length (Cat Dog, Sponge Bob Square Pants).

Oh, and these were done with network help.

But he won't wait. He has to "show the networks how it's done" sooner rather than later, I guess.

Well he gets about 240 dollars per review from Patreon. if he saves up his money from that, do you think he'll have enough money for mediocre animation?

i don't really know, unfortunately. i literally have no idea what the price range for a halfway decent animator is.

i will say though that i imagine the absolute best he could get would be a cartoon comparable in quality to ones from people like Hot Diggity Demon and Egoraptor. that's kind of a pipe dream at best though.

i also find it kind of sad that for someone who seems to care so much about animation he doesn't seem to understand much about how it's actually made or how to make a successful pitch.

240 dollars per episode could buy DV Ds for twenty episodes alone, and considering he doesn't seem to want to review more obscure stuff that's hard to find and expensive, I'm forced to assume he's doing something else with the money.

Animation for an 11-minute pilot is exponentially higher than anything he will be able to earn with just reviews, even with that amount of money per review. Of course, it varies. Though I'm still not surprised he got that amount- his fanbase is apparently huge.

The opening is actually supposed to spoof the extravagant themes of the James Bond movies. Porn has nothing to with it! .... does he even know who James B—*SHOT!*

Anyways, with the way Enter wants his characters to be developed, he'll probably want it to be 22 minutes!

i briefly considered leaving him a message on his da explaining why his ambition is inherently unfeasible (or at least, the idea that anything he can do is going to show the networks how it's done is laughable) but i honestly don't think he would pay me any mind.

Trust me. He probably wont. Most likely you'll just get confusing responses from fans. I could be wrong this time though.l

Honestly it's about tone a lot from what I can tell. Giving a calm rational explanation might not work but I doubt he'll be mad at people who are legitimately concerned.

This, pretty much. I left a comment asking him about the legal stuff for Growing Around, and I did it in the same way you described. While Mr. Enter didn't respond to it, I wasn't bashed by the people who did respond, and I probably contributed to him deciding to do a journal about the issue.

Hate to go off topic, but I just watched Enter's review on Flapjack's love episode and is it just me, or does something seem very off in that video? His voice sounded really different. Like a cold or something.

I also thought the crab joke he condemned was actually pretty funny...
