Oh my, I now need to read a Nanoha AU where both Fate and Nanoha are barely functioning alcoholics.
On topic one of my favorites ending lines is "Come on, Friendship Duck", Itachi said to his animal accompaniment.
This story was also written when he was still a crazy murderer.

One of my personal favorites, of a fic that I myself wrote, ends thusly:
"Vivio, darling?" Fate called, her voice pitched several octaves higher than normal. "Your uncle Chrono's coming to babysit in a few minutes."
Vivio asked, "What's wrong, Mommy?"
"Mommy needs to get plastered and forget the last forty-eight hours ever happened."
