Puzzle and Dragons

Oh I'll certainly keep the jewels around, I'll have a use for them eventually. The second Haku is just spare for now, no plans to develop her. Luci I will because I have the spare materials (jewels can be farmed easier these days from challenges, invades now that I can actually handle some descends, Gift of the Holy Stamina Wasteathon, etc).

Super Ult Luci is actually getting a decent reputation, the Gamefaqs guys (who are high end players, several high IAP too) rate him quite well, though it remains to be seen how Awoken Pandora fares, and my eventual dark team might lean more towards her. Or Castor/Satsuki, got a few options.

Shiva and Lakshmi are my next big teams to work on before that though, now that Wood is nearing completion besides skill ups. By which I mean, I got my Awoken Meimei! Huzzah! I've replaced Sasuke with her, which has the downside of lacking a 5-turn active, which is a problem for Bastet. On the plus side, Earth Insect Dragon is back in the coin dungeon shop, so I'll need to invest stones and coins in trying to farm it for Vishnu skill ups. If I can somehow max him, I'll have another 5 turn active again.

Oh.... I found my new best friend's Hypermaxed Halloween Thoth and Sopdet... :)

After my previous post...I decided to try Friday Mythical. And got wiped first floor because I had only two wood orbs, and no Sasuke to make more! Inevitable, that after I post about the risks of not having a first-turn orb-changer, I get trolled hard...

Okay, how the hell do you kill a Treant? I'm stuck on one of the dungeons because the bastards won't die. Do I have to lower their defense?

Break their defense or deal enough damage to go over it. What team are you using?

Also, @Addy, I would recommend Castor or Awoken Pandora for a Dark team. Satsuki is much better as a sub. And although Meimei doesn't have a short cool down, you won't find a better board change unless you have Verdandi(and even then, she's only good for hearts). You really don't need to use her active more than once anyway, especially with other orb converters around.

Welp, I guess this is when my casualness is exposed.

My team doesn't really have a "theme" persay. It's mostly composed of "Who's the strongest one of all your individual elements" although Dark is by far my strongest one.

Or are you asking for my team members?

Leader/friend leader and I suppose what subs you're using.

My leader is a LV Max Trance Vivi from the Final Fantasy event, who is fully awoken.

I also have a LV 81 Trance Zidane (By far my weakest sub)

Also a LV 83 Emperor, also from the FF Event (Damn I really like Final Fantasy don't I) who i am TRYING MY HARDEST to replace with my Ultimate Evolved Dark Hermes, but his cost is through the damn roof.

Then there's my Water/Fire Tyrannos, Fully Lv upped and Awoken.

And finally my LV 86 Neo Exdeath, who is to soon be replaced by my Ultimate Evolved Divinegon

TL;DR 7.8/10 too much Final Fantasy

Well...I see where the problem is. Trance Vivi's LS isn't being activated for anyone except herself and Emperor's sub attribute, maybe a friend leader depending on what you choose.

If you want to progress further in the game, you need a better team. Trance Vivi isn't doing anything for you, especially if your team has almost no Dark monsters. Trance Zidane would even be a better option since he boosts Attackers, though he's not much of an upgrade(pretty okay sub for a wood team though). Tyrannos, Neo Exdeath, and Emperor are pretty much stat sticks on that team. Their actives don't do anything useful, especially since the latter two have such high cooldowns. Divinegon will have the same problem.

Do you have anything else in your box that might work as a better leader? Hermes or Divinegon(with a Sun Wukong friend) wouldn't be too bad of a choice, but you may have something better.

I also have an Ultimate Evolved Lu Bu i'm trying to level up and replace Trance Vivi. Should I go ahead and do that?

Lu bu could definitely work. I'd recommend putting Dark Devils on the team, just so you can have his LS activate. Putting anything on the team that's not devil won't do you any good for the most part.

Yeah, I'm looking at Castor and Awoken Pandora really. Also got two Akechis, and he's definitely getting an ult later this year, so as either leader or sub he could prove fantastic.

Not really given much thought to the dark team as I say though. Had the materials so I did give Luci his first ultimate, but I have other priorities for the water jewels I need for his second. Another from his pantheon, Gabriel, is first in line for Awoken Lakshmi. Damn it if I still want Andromeda though, especially with her own super ult. Got other options but she would be ideal.

Meimei is definitely the best board changer option for Bastet, but I really need to prioritise getting Vishnu skilled up ASAP, as I do need the option of extra wood orbs on the very first turn, which was where Sasuke helped. Once Vishnu is skill maxed (hyper maxed it will make him) I'll have it a lot easier. Especially if I get a second one eventually.

Managed to get top 26.2% on the ranking dungeon with Bastet. Not too bad, Flame Baron is the real tricky part. After that though, I remember why I like Time Extends.

Also tried to beat Guan Yinping legend with A. Sakuya. Made it to the second set of ninjas and got orb trolled massively. It just reminded me of why I hate leaders with that kind of playstyle.

The descends are dropping like flies for me! Crushed Beelzebub yesterday, and also Legendary Mountain Path which I only attempted on a whim with spare stamina.

Today is an exercise in seeing if I can clear OOH faster than I can regenerate stamina while also doing other things. Couldn't play it at all yesterday as I was busy all day, so hopefully I can rack up a few plus eggs today.

I see that now that we have 3 minute stamina, we're getting extra dungeons each day - yay! Tuesday means Grimoires which means me attempting it endlessly to try and bag Theurgia for my Awoken Shiva at long last. I still lack key subs for that team but I do have a bare-bones psuedo team due to having things like Ame-no-Uzume and Phoenix Rider, Valen. Could do with trying to get Hino and Caocao though.

Depending on what team you're using to do those descends, you may be able to farm Starlight Sanctuary.

I can farm King Of The Gods now, but it takes longer and has a slightly worse plus egg rate than OOH. With OOH leading with GZL (or any other unconditional lead), I can literally rub my finger randomly around the screen and beat every floor except the last two. When actively trying, I can clear the dungeon in about 2 minutes. KOTG isn't hard for me anymore, but I don't have a button-press team for that unfortunately.

Pretty much the advantage of KOTG over OOH is that you'll rank up more from farming it for plus eggs.

True, though per stamina it is known to be less efficient. Once I have a button-press team for it I'll probably start doing it more often. GZL doesn't have the power for it (at full health) and combo-leads obviously aren't button press so Bastet is out.

Times like this are what I want a Verdandi for...

Back when I used to do KOG non-stop, the Satan team was as close as button press as I can get, with a bit of stalling to get skills up, then the last few floors require rows and some luck involved. Zeus in particular, since Lu Bu needs to be used, and that takes HP to 1.

The Krishna team almost takes luck out of the picture, with Echidna delay in particular, there are chances to recover from a mess-up.

x9 I endorse dark devils for being awesome to use and fairly farmable (with Vampire needing a bit of a grind). <3

I will caution that Dark Devils is not something you should plan on keeping forever, since they can't do as much as they used to. It'd be good to work on a side team of something more flexible/long term if you can.

Fortunately, many Dark Devil members can easily transition into other later game dark teams, Yomi and Dmeta in particular. Lu Bu is still viable as a stat stick even if a team is not all devils, though Yomi is a devil too.

So, I don't know why, but I have faint memories that a light version Yomi exists. And not DL. Completely Light attribute card that evolves to LD.

Awoken Pandora could bring dark Devils back though, she's looking solid. She's also the reason I'm only going to Awaken one Haku - the other is better as DD for Pandora duty due to rows and typing (A Haku loses devil).

In other news I think I need to stop calling myself a scrub, having now cleared all the Mythicals in Devil Challenge which is a no continue challenge. The only others remaining are the legend plus Devil Rush (suicide without skills) and Corpse Worm Dragon (legend but I've not got a whole team of Dragons).

Managed to get my coveted Theurgia from the challenge too, so no longer need to spend today farming Grimoires in desperate hope. Meaning once I get her Evod, I have Awoken Shiva who gets my 3 Flampies!

Team for now is Urd, Valkyrie Femme, Ame no Uzume, Phoenix Rider Valen. Not ideal but the synergy and utility are there, and Femme is a quick orb changer. I could still do serious damage with that team until I roll Hino or Caocao I think.

Echidna, always tack Echidna on a fire farming team. <3

Also, congratulations for getting over the feeling of scrubbiness!

I felt an inferiority complex too after:

• Everyone insulted my +200 Chester. Heh heh heh. And long after that....
• I realized my farmable Dark Devils can't do much beyond KOG and some Descends. Heh heh.

If I was still more into this game, I can probably go places with Krish and Yomi now. Currently all I do is login open mail and do special events; but it gets me freebies and doesn't let down the people who added me, anyway.

I'm hoping for more than just farming for Awoken Shiva, though my current team will require pretty heavy investment to get anywhere. Hopefully I can save enough stones to get a heavy hitter or two for the team. Echidna obviously does serve as a useful delay, though I wasn't lucky enough to score a Santachidna at Christmas, which is much better.

Depending on what dungeon you're doing, you may not even need Echidna on that team. Delay is a lot of times something that you take when needed, not all the time.

It's why monsters with delay+other effect are so much more useful than Echidna for the most part.
