Daltar, can I have a number on very strong Summons? Very strong as in my current concept is a magical mech pilot.

Hmmm... lets say that for that kind of character whose mech is the main fighter, you can sink points into the mech as if it were the the main character and use left over ones to power up a little the actual pilot if you want. That would kind of be two stat sheets, with perhaps your character sinking one point into pact or magical item to summon the magic mech.

  • Name: Bai Wu
  • Age: 221
  • Species: Sage
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: A young-looking woman with pale blue hair that falls to around her shoulderblades, sharp, dignified features, and dark red eyes. Bai Wu wears clothes that are easy to move in - wide, loose pants, soft-soled shoes, and a jacket with loose sleeves, all in cool blue silk with red piping along the seams. She carries a wooden staff slightly taller than she is, and wears a cut bamboo tube on a sling on her back.
  • Personality: Bai Wu has something of a fey, tricky attitude at times. She enjoys life and she enjoys living - she eats and drinks hard, trains her mind and body daily, and even at her age, still has a zest for exploration and learning. Something of a wanderer in life, she loves meeting new people and sharing drinks and stories with them, and doesn't take anything too seriously.
  • Backstory: Born several hundred years ago on a layer of existence several shades more arcane than the mundane hub of the multiverse, Bai Wu began her training as a spirit sage at the young age of five. Following shamanistic traditions, she learned from the Four Guardian Beasts, spoke with the five elements, and traveled across the land that was in some layers known as China, following in the footsteps of Xuanzang and Sun Wukong before returning to her home village in the south, where she meditated and maintained a small shrine to the holy waterfall there. She served as the shrine's keeper until the Dragon of the Waterfall suggested that she turn the duties of keeper over to an apprentice, and now she wanders the world, exploring, learning, and drinking, and occasionally stopping in to visit the village that she loves and that loves her. The sudden blockage of souls into the Great Hells has greatly concerned the Jade Emperor and King Yama, so she's taken it upon herself to find out what the holdup is.

These are her magical items, just for the sake of reference.

  • Staff of the Sage: Bai Wu's staff is nearly as old as she is, and grants its master several powers through her connection to the Dragon of the Falls. The staff can shoot ice projectiles and aids Bai Wu's water channeling ability, powers it can grant, in lesser power, to anyone else who holds it.
  • Flying Cloud: Bai Wu carries a sealed bamboo tube full of mist from her waterfall on her back. When released, this mist coalesces into a cloud that Bai Wu can touch, sit, stand and lean on. She can ride the cloud at several times walking pace and can fly with it.

Red Savant: Approved.

KSPAM: Change the name of the bike, Sammy can't be Samael in any form, the weapons have fanciful descriptions, but they still operate as one point weapons, so the Scythe can go through light magical defenses and non magical defenses, swords bring doom and may amplify further strikes against the target. 3 points of vitality give you a big health bar but simply that. The regeneration of the Hourai is overstated, as it should allow them to naturally regrow body parts and heal damage at a certain pace, but enough punishment should be able to kill them without it being all at once. Basically, you got a lot of health and a steady source of regeneration. However, if life gets too low and they are dealt a grievous wound, they would die from it.

  • Name: Marcus Karrde (He has borne many names throughout the age, through tends to favor this one.)
  • Age: In the 800s.
  • Species: Deathless (Human)
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: A riches-to-rags type of man, Marcus looks tired much of the time, his blue eyes downcast and brown hair messy. A dramatic person with narrative senses might say he conjures the image of a deadman walking, through most people would label him a sleepy perpetual drunkard, an appearance further cultivated by his insistence on well-worn, heavily stiched overcoat and dusty red scarf even in sweltering weather. Previously wore a red cap, but lately stops due to the uncanny resemblance with a certain mute Beastmaster.
  • Personality: A desperately lonely man who seeks people to accompany him, yet paradoxically pushes them away for fear of losing them later on. His witticism, dry words, and gallows humor evolving naturally to deal with the constant tragedy belies a golden heart. To have love, to make a family, to age and die with the love of his life: all these blessings are denied to him by his curse. Even his most cherished memories turn to dust as time slowly moves on. He therefore searches for a way to reverse his curse – for his goal is not to die, but to live.
  • Backstory: Son of an affluent clockmaker born in some long gone town in Central Europe, the boy who would become Marcus grew up in the wild, not so much oscratized as other children being unable to keep up with his limitless energy. One dark, stormy night (after a long series of such nights, due to such things being common in the region and night’s perchant to, in fact, be dark.) he was selected as the prey of a Wild Hunt. Engaged in the deadliest game of cat and mouse, ever, he would continually evades pursuit for the entire night through trickery and underhanded means. Impressed with his effort, the Erlking would curse him to wander the Earth forever, evading the Hunt until it eventually caught up to him. The man who would become Marcus thought, that day, that his life was over. He couldn’t be more wrong. Several centuries worth of adventure later, he was pestered by ghosts to investigate a strange occurrence- and, perhaps, find an end to his curse.
  • Stats:
    • Physical Might: 1 (Experienced in combat, but no real noteworthy martial skills)
    • Magical Skill: 3 (Specialized in warding, abjurations, bindings and exorcism. He eventually gains their loyalty, but his early days with each summons were unpleasant, to say the least.)
    • Magical Equipment: 2 (A Bag of Holding w/mudane and magical knickknacks.*)
    • Summons: 5 (A Kitsune, a Djinni, a Phantasm Horse and a Roc. The additional point represents his ability of gaining more.**)
    • Pacts: 1 (Erlking: As the latest to survive the Wild Hunt, Karrde have been cursed with unnatural longetivity, to always flee the Hunt until inevitably being caught. The Wild Hunt can be appeased by slaying mythical creatures of great renown and power, though can be whimsical and, true to name, Fey.)
    • Vitality: 1 (Reasonably hardy and resilient.)
    • Special Abilities: 2 (Unaging body borne of his curse, immunity to supernatural fear effects, abillites to interact with ghosts, and a natural likebillity that borders on a Charm effects to beasts mudane and magical.)
    • Sources of Power: 1 (Heroic Soul)
    • Other: A wanderer *coughhobocough* who possess enough riches he could rival the kings of ancient times. Unfortunately, most of his coins have gone out of circulation and it is difficult to find an exchanger who would give fair rate to the denarii.

* Styled as a bag, but not actually one. More like a Simulated Reality Psuedo Extrasensory Storage Vault, but that’s a bit of a mouthful. In effects, a hole in reality like that of a certain mythic golden King where he stores his stuff. Inside contains the jewel of his collection – the Seven Star Dagger, which is both unnaturally sharp and very pretty. Beyond that, it contains a variety of magical knickknacks ranging from the genie lamp (where Ugo resides), decanter of endless water (foul tasting due to being kept in a place with horrible airflows), everlasting torch (wrapped in a firerat’s fur coat), a half-brick in a sock (a half-brick in a sock), corpse fly charm (eww), deck of many things (never, ever again), eye of vecna (fake, brought at a thrift store) and many more. The mudane sides of thing contains practically everything semi-portable until the 18th century.

** Several summons fiercely loyal to him, partially due to not being caught and stuck in a tiny ball.

  • Sanbi – Three-tailed Kitsune – A three-centuries old mischievous shapeshifter revered as a minor deity by a small village in a secluded forest. As time progressed, however, faith in the old ways faded as Japan opened its borders and industrialized itself. Soon she was abandoned and left in the wilderness. Helpless, she wandered the forest until Karrde happened across her path. Feeling pity for her, he offered to take her as a companion if she helped him. Sanbi agreed and has been traveling with him ever since. Sanbi’s skills lie in her illusions and disguise magic. At her current age, she can effectively disguise herself and another as other persons. She also has the power to possess humans weaker than her. When not appearing as a youngish playful teenager with fox tails and ears – she claims them to be fashion accessories- she transforms into his scarf. Her true form is a small, silver fox with three tails. The most cunning of his summons.

  • Ugo – Djinni – One of the many jinn who built Solomon’s Temple, serving as an advisor to the wise king for many years. Eventually sealed by the king himself in a magic lamp after he fell prey to the ploy of an envious vizier who plays to his secreted ambition. Awoken by Axis soldiers, he would be forced to comply with their orders for two years until Karrde stumbles upon him. Having been treated as an equal by the unaging young man, they quickly built a rapport. He can manifest his gigantic body to limbs opponents or, for a brief period of times, emerge in all his titanic glory. Beyond that, he is knowledgeable of the arcane arts, if incapable of using them himself, and wise. He can grant one single wish, but warns Karrde that due to his nature, he must exercise wisdom when wishing lest it ruins him. Stay inside his lamp, though occasionally appears through the dimensional gateway. The strongest of his summons.

  • Red Hare – Thousand-Li Horse – A mythical equine, crimson in color. Taken from the tomb of a famous Chinese general. With speed surpassing that of a modern formula one race car, he’s the one that Karrde summon when he gotta goes fast. Due to the violent deaths of his previous riders, Karrde is also partially cursed/blessed with being able to see, hear, and speak to ghosts. Unfortunately, they usually make fairly poor conversational partners and tends to mob him should he reveals he notice them. Frolic in the spiritual realms, though, answer his calls with a thunderous gallop from anywhere in the world. The fastest of his summons.

  • Gwaihir – Roc – Loaned to him by a certain infatuating wizard who insists he is neither early nor late, despite ruining many a party with this selfishness, after he accidentally killed Karrde’s previous companion, a Naga named Mr. Bubbles. Nicknamed Mr. Beaks by Sanbi, the Roc possess all the qualities of a giant bird, and a mean temper to match. Secretly likes shiny stuffs. Staying in his misty mountain, the Roc evenly divided his role as pointy talon death from above, low-fare flight, and icebreaker at a party. The most arrogant of his summons.

  • Crimson Suzaku Tamamo Rubicante Voltron EX Deus Vult Go-Go! - ??? - By the powers of friendship, his summons combine to form a gestalt mobile suit of unimaginable power! This is a joke. Maybe.

I'll have to postpone my signup for the thread. I'm getting pretty preoccupied with RL, other R Ps and my own projects so I don't think I'd be able to keep up with something like this atm. If my schedule clears up, I'll be sure to put something together.

  • Appearance: "Your kind does not belong in this world."
  • Personality: Imohael is strict, disciplined and very determined to protect humanity against the things that lurk in the shadows. He mostly lacks a sense of humor though he is able to crack a joke now and then.
  • Backstory: Imohael is one of Heavens Soldier angels whose sole duty is to find and destroy demons and devils wherever they may hide and he has been fulfilling that task ever since he was sent to Earth, more specifically Europe, five hundred years ago. He have fought against witches and their lords, cults and their summoned beasts. -Still WIP-
  • Stats:
    • Physical Might: 5 Being a soldier Imohael is more physically capable than many other Angels
    • Magical Skill: 2 Though physical fighting is not his only weapon, no, Imohael is also capable of making some miracles, granted upon him by the Lord.
    • Magical Equipment: 3
      • Joshu'a: (3) A mighty blade forged in Heaven making it impossibly sharp, durable and light. It burns that which is Evil and demonic with Holy Fire and heals those of a good heart. When striking against demons possessing people only the demon inside is hurt, knocking the victim of the possession unconscious for a time
    • Pacts: 3 Imohael soul and being belong to the Holy Spirit.
    • Vitality: 2 Despite being a soldier Imohael is a little frail, relatively. Instead he is relying on his skill and Halo to prevent damage
    • Special Abilities: 3. Flight, Demon Detection and And a Halo that weakens nearby enemies and their attacks.
    • Sources of Power: 2. Heroic Soul and Covenant with the Holy Spirit.
  • Other: a pair of glasses and a suit he uses to blend in amongst the regular populace

So I've been mulling over a character for a while and finally got something up and ready for action.

  • Name: Hikari Seijuurou
  • Age: 27
  • Species: Human/Godblooded (Descended from the Gods)
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: Hikari, blonde from that dash of foreign blood
  • Personality: Hikari is exactly what one might expect from a born fighter: rough, sarcastic, and prone to solving things with her actions rather than words. She has an abundance of confidence and showcases no fear in the face of any threat pointed in her direction. She enjoys drinking about as much as she enjoys fighting and her regenerative factor ensures that she barely gets more than a buzz unless she really wants to push it. Unlike one might expect her temper isn't hair trigger but she plays it up like it is. An enraged foe acts predictable and a foe who is fooled into thinking you act predictable plays into your hands. When it comes to social skills she's blunt and, quite frankly, doesn't give a damn who or what you are. She'll say what she wants when she wants.
  • Backstory: Hikari was born to a woman who's ancestry dated back to some of the the great samurai houses while her father was a lesser known programmer from the United States. She was raised by her mother who could barely handle the energy and strength of her daughter. She had wanted a calm child but what she got was a wild one. Her father was around but encouraged her to "follow her dreams" which happened to be learning how to fight. She got passing grades in school but dedicated her spare time to learning any martial art and weapon she could get her hands on. And she got her hands on quite a few. Every style she learned and every weapon she used came almost naturally as if her body was already suited to the motions of battle. It was one day when she was just sixteen that she became aware of the voices in the back of her head calling to her. The voices of Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu. She awakened her two summons and began sparring with what was effectively the manifestion of her godsblood. In this way she became aware of her heritage as the descendent of Susano'o. Naturally she kicked down a few doors and demanded that her uncle, as she calls him, begin to enhance her godly blood so that she could fight with other empowered individuals. Blades in hand, or in heaven, and a nearly insatiable lust for worthy opponents Hikari has begun her quest to kick the collective hell out of every other long-lived or superpowered person between her and the title of "unquestionably the best fighter on earth".

Stats:

  • Physical Might: (6) Hikari has a natural almost overwhelming grasp on all martial skills as a result of her blood which points back to Susano'o, god of the storms and slayer of Yamata-no-Orochi. Her ability to speed and overpower others is almost second to none as her heritage as a Godblooded of War grants her something that is best described a sixth sense for how to move and react with her body. When she's shown a physical technique she can quickly pick up on how to use or counteract a technique if it is shown to her a few times.

  • Magical Skill: (2) With Susano'o's blood in her veins Hikari can call on the storms to give her aid but her magic barely extends beyond that. Hikari can manipulate the wind, water, and lightning but only to the extent of calling those elements down or imbuing them into Storm's Fury.

  • Magical Equipment: (1)
    • Storm's Fury. These are twin swords, katanas of course given her heritage, with a few features designed for the ultimate warrior. Susano'o blessed Hikari's blades with three key traits: The ability to be summoned from and stored in 'Heaven' at will, the ability to never dull or break, and pierce most basic defenses and armors.

  • Summons or Minions: (4, 2 for each) These summons are durable and strong relative to Hikari since they are manifestations of her divine blood made physical, which is why she is able to communicate with them mentally.
    • Tsukuyomi: Tsukuyomi is a female humanoid looking figure who can be summoned whenever Hikari demands her aid. Tsukuyomi represents the power of a grand defense and has a large shield on her left arm with a long thin wicked looking blade in the other hand. This summon floats usually over her right shoulder when summoned and acts based on mental commands or the natural knowledge of how Hikari acts. Tsukuyomi's shield is often used to blunt the blows of their opponent be they magical or physical while allowing Hikari and Tsukuyomi to counter attack in unison, with Amaterasu if all three of them are active.
    • Amaterasu: Amaterasu is a female humanoid figure who can also be summoned whenever Hikari demands her aid. Amaterasu is the counter point to Tsukuyomi's defense with a focus on blazing attacks. This woman has a single long spear that looks to be made of flames. Using her spear Amaterasu continually to try and force opponents to react whether they charge closer or attempt to back off in such a way as to trap them between her spear and Hikari's sword. They key to this offense is the way that Amaterasu she has a mastery of positioning and tactical prowess.

  • Pacts: (3)
    • Susano'o: The God of Sea and Storms has entered into a pact with his "niece" after she came to him seeking the full extent of power that lay within her blood. This pact grants her her magical prowess and her blades so that she can fulfill his requests however outlandish they may be.

  • Vitality: (2) Hikari is healthy and in shape but she is still, at the end of the day, mostly human so if someone manages to get past her supernaturally talented physical form and skill then she is only going to be able slightly above average amounts of punishment.

  • Special Abilities: (1)
    • Regeneration: Granted by her divine heritage Hikari has a passive health regen active. This isn't excessive really but it keeps her in good health and mostly immune to disease. The combat benefit of this, however, is her ability to recover from attacks faster and act riskier because she can shrug off lighter wounds.

  • Sources of Power: Heroic Soul, Divine Blood (Enhanced and empowered by her pact with Susano'o)

  • Other: Hikari has enough money to live comfortably wherever she wants all garnered from street fights which usually she wins with ease. She's actually rather famous in certain underground circles as "the Blonde Dragon".

  • Name: Johnny Timms and Carnifex
  • Age: 31 (Johnny) At least 522. (Carnifex)
  • Species: Human Undead/Spirit
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: Johnny is a well-built, tall man with a shaved head and a short brown mustache, he has bloodshot yellow eyes, he is immensely pale, and often wears a white, stained wife beater, a pair of camo pants, work boots and a bright pink Hawaiian shirt, and bloody bandages wrapped around his forearms and hands.
  • Personality: Johnny, is dead. Carnifex, however, is completely insane, he enjoys pretending to be a gentleman, often being cordial, however, this is an act. Carnifex is actually a homicidal spirit of a serial killer, and he enjoys nothing more than bloodshed, however, he also loves games. If you can offer him a challenge, he'll agree to it, but be warned, he has a tendency to use exact words.
Back story: Carnifex was a spirit that has possessed many great monsters throughout the years, including, someone who may have been Jack The Ripper, but it's highly doubtful. Johnny, was a suicidal man who was tormented into slitting his wrists by the spirit, and now Carnifex resides within his corpse, where he has decided to continue his line of work in this fair city.
  • Stats: (13 points to distribute as you wish)
    • Physical Might: 6 (Being Dead, Johnny is free from the mental barriers that keep people from using their full strength, however, if Carnifex pushes his body to far, Johnny will literally break apart.
    • Magical Skill: 0; Carnifex, accept for residing in the corpse is really unable to use magic, he is bound to this vessel until it rots.
    • Magical Equipment: 1; "Mack" A long knife with a broad single edge, designed to draw blood, cuts made by it that bleed are incredibly difficult to staunch the bleeding.
    • Summons or Minions: 0
    • Pacts: 0 (There is no Johnny, only Carnifex.)
    • Vitality: 4; (Johnny, can only be taken down by crippling him, making him almost impossible to stop, however, he is still weak against being crushed, burnt, frozen and magic.)
    • Special Abilities: Blood Hound: By tasting someone's blood, Carnifex is able to track them for ten miles, being able to locate them easily. 1
    • Healing: Carnifex is able to feed upon the dead, sustaining and healing his vessel, however, in order to get any actual healing, this process can take upwards of twelve hours. 1
  • Sources of Power: Johnny's body feeds Carnifex, and is able to sustain him for a week before it starts to rot, however, by killing people, Carnifex is able to feed off their life force to sustain his vessel.

  • Personality: While putting on an easily-broken polite veil when it comes to clients, Alexis actually has a feisty attitude, disliking being bossed around, and often putting her life at peril by showing snarkiness and a lack of respect for beings stronger than her, and often taking a third option or refusing to play by the rules. Unlike some other immortal, or long-lived beings, Alexis also shows an active interest in technology and modernity, keeping up to date with the latest advances and fashions.
  • Backstory: Alexis' mother lived and worked in a farm in New England, during the early Twentieth Century. Unbeknownst to her there was a weakness between the realities in the forest near her farm. This weakness was exploited by a runaway elf. Dashingly handsome, Alexis' mother was quickly wooed. Soon enough, a baby was born.
    • When Alexis was at the mere age of 3, her father was tracked down by his elven people and, despite putting up a fight was killed, along with Alexis' mother. Alexis' was at a friend's house at the time, and when she was dropped back off she was homeless, her house having been burnt down to destroy all evidence.
    • Put in an orphanage, but unable to be adopted due to her feisty nature, even as a toddler, Alexis grew up normally as a child, went to school, went to college, etc. It was when she was doing her gap year at university however, and had returned back to her hometown, that a friend of her father's came upon her and, recognizing her likeness to her father and her heritage, told her about it. Feeling an obligation, to help her, he tutored her in the magical arts and the world of the supernatural. This friend of her father's also worked as an occult investigator. During one such investigation, he was killed.
    • Alexis took over the job, while also expanding her horizons, running a tattoo parlour where she crafted protective runes on her client's skin, and working as a consultant and, in special cases, a mercenary. Her growth stopping, Alexis has managed to stay in the business for a long time, and so has seen a lot of things in her career, and beaten them.
  • Stats:
    • Physical Might: 3, being a half-fae, Alexis is naturally at the peak of human phyiscal skill, but her agility, reflexes and speed are greatly increased.
    • Magical Skill: 5, Alexis has an innate mastery over magic due to her heritage. This manifests as:
      • Psychic skills - Telekinesis, clairvoyance, telepathy and healing.
      • Nature magic - Control over trees, plants and their fruits. Also able to pacify and communicate with animals.
      • Arcane - Energy balls and ability to draw and empower runes.
    • Magical Equipment: 2. One is an unnaturally light vest made of a metal on par with titanium, and the other an automatic pistol that automatically reloads with either iron, blessed, poisoned or silver bullets.
    • Summons or Minions: 1. A phoenix named Fyrn. It is larger than normal birds, unnaturally fast at flying, immortal, able to light itself on fire or become extremely hot, able to carry impossible large weights and is an onimous black.
    • Pacts: 1. Alexis has a small pact with the primordial being of fire, which means that, in return for Fyrn and her special ability she is to provide her services free of charge for half a century, and at a discounted price from there. She is on the latter stage of her contract.
    • Vitality: 1, Elves aren't very durable and she only has the average human durability, maybe even a little less.
    • Special Abilities: 1. Ability to control fire, but not make it.
    • Sources of Power:1, Heroic soul by default and being a half fae.

ORK TOIM, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-I'll need just a bit of time. I love me some Orc warlords, but I'd rather not destroy any chance of a half-decent campaign by just roleplaying correctly.
