Yeah, I think that Clayton could have benefited by being a scientist instead of just a hunter because then he would had have been the perfect rival to Jane's father as in how they would use their knowledge in the laws of the jungle.

The TV series kinda attempted that with Phineas T. Philander (who was Professor Porter's friend in the books), but he lacked Clayton's sense of menace.

I agree. If they had made Phineas T. Philander a bit more threatening in the TV series, he would have been the perfect nemesis to Professor Porter.

I don't know how long Tarzan has been on Netflix, but I just noticed it, so there ya go. >.>

I didn't know they had Tarzan on Netflix, but they are putting out a lot of movies on Netflix lately, so it's hard for me to keep up most of the time.
