Looks good. I have to say I really enjoyed the TR reboot. The Metroid-vania like map, the exploration, I really felt it gave you the feel of actually raiding AND surviving.
The supernatural elements were good, right up until you take on waves of Stormguard... well, anyway, their sense of threat dropped off at the point, shall we say. They were creepy when being alluded to.
Only thing I'm not 100% about is that they changed her face a bit - original Lara was great.
Also, strange she's seeing an American psychiatrist. I know, nit-picking and loads of explanations, but it'd make more sense (thematically) for him to be a Brit, unless she's now in the USA...
You speak as though everyone who lives in the UK has a British accent. I've a few friends who moved there and could never pick up the accent. I don't think its too unusual.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I also loved the reboot, so I'll be keeping a close eye on this. I expect good things.
Couldn't care less about the story, but Tom Raider was one of my favourite 2013 games based on the gameplay alone.
If there's more tombs in this one like the title implies, I'm going to be very happy.
Tombs themselves were my main beef with it, actually. They were too easy and short. I want big complex puzzles, not a bit of swinging and timing and weighing things down. Give me some good puzzles this time, and I'll be happy even if nothing much else is different.
I always thought Lara was just some big boob bimbo with guns. Thank God this came out.
I really liked the first one and hope to have an Xbox One by the time the second comes out.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."I thought Tomb Raider Legend also did a good job of reviving Lara's personality. :)
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.Maybe we'll see the Deadpan Snarker side of her start to develop.
Probably. I'd imagine we're done seeing Lara-The Victim and Lara-The Survivor and now we're seeing Lara-The Fighter and Lara-The Adventurer.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Shit like this isn't gonna make me buy the Xbox one....Killer Instinct, Halo, Titanfall? Sure..This shit here? Nah.
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92If this is true, I am beyond enraged.
Edit- That letter "explaining" their decision, it doesn't explain shit.

RIP my fandom of the Tomb Raider reboot, June 2014 - August 2014.
Also, wasn't Square-Enix originally disappointed with TR's sales figures in its first months? How does limiting it to one platform even make sense?

Man, what the fuck?! HELL NO.
lol moneyhats
The first one didn't sell amazingly anyway, I doubt this will sell Xbones.
Everyone knows this is timed exclusive anyway.
Money is Microsoft's only asset at this point.
The first one actually sold pretty good, but due to a rather bloated budget, it came out as a loss.
(Only post I can make on this shitty wifi in spain)
Fuck MS.
I'm over the initial shock now, and as far as I can gather the general feeling seems to be it's only a timed exclusive, but still, damn.
I hope it's just a timed exclusive. I loved the first one.
Oh really when?Same and now I've moved myself over to PC gaming so I can't get it. : /
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.(Sees the ps4 having sold through over ten million units) Um, crystal dynamics, are you high?
Watch SymphogearI'd imagine that they were just offered a ton of money they couldn't refuse. It wasn't a matter of logistics, but money.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I hope this comes to the Xbox 360. I don't have enough money for the new console...
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."I think we're in that period where most new titles are next gen, now.
Watch Symphogear
Found the trailer to be a wee bit amusing because I spent the majority of my time with the original wondering how someone could rack up such a body-count as Lara did and not contract some degree of PTSD in the process.
Also Rhianna Pratchett will return, which I think I could be a bit more thrilled about. Although to be honest, the only games of hers I've played are Mirror's Edge and the previous TB, I've heard both of those scripts apparently suffered some sort of butchery in development?
