Aw man. Only one more Splatfest? Well, I will be sure to join in on this one. My vote will be for Marie. As for the stages, I contemplating on Museum, Piranha, Blackbelly, Urchin, and Walleye.

Oh man, final Splatfest? I know they are basically glorified Turf Wars, but it still feels kind of sad...

I went with Urchin Underpass. I really like that stage, and it makes sense to bring the 2Fort of Splatoon to this final event.

So I haven't been big on Splatoon, but I did buy it and enjoy it on occasion, and I'm ducking into this thread because I just got a Nintendo email about the final Splatfest. Has there been any mention of why they're not doing any more? It seems like a great way to keep the community going strong with a minimum of work. I mean, seriously, all you need is a couple interns writing the appropriate dialogue and coming up with a graphic or two.

In other news, the Research Lab is teaming up with Art Academy, with the idea to have one big pile of drawings to memorialize Splatfest.

After hitting Level 20 I kinda stopped playing (this was before the level cap was raised to 50.) i came back to it now and played 2 great matches and leveled up to 21.

It's like 'why did I ever stop?"

The Protomen enhanced my life.

With Splatfest ending, what's going to happen to the sea snails? Will there be no other ways to obtain them? I have a feeling, over time, there will be more players using save scumming/gear editing tactics in place of the snails. After all, getting ₩30k is a slow process.

I'm kind of bummed there won't be any more Splatfests. I didn't have a lot of motivation to 'get gud' at the game aside from those... Not that I've managed to play any of them lately.

Reeeeally hoping there'll end up being some sort of monthly super-turf-war with the Super Sea Snails as prizes, even if we don't get the themes and stuff. Or something like that, it seems really weird to think of there being no more Snails after this splatfest...

I'll be back for one last round. The Callie fans will choke on our dead.

Also, a small update is coming July 6th.

This update adds:

• Callie and Marie amiibo support.
• Dynamos sweetspot getting shrunken by 18%
• Bubbler base length getting nerfed from 5 seconds to 4.5 seconds
• Kraken base length getting nerfed from 6 seconds to 5 seconds

For Bubbler and Kraken, Special Duration Up increases the cap from 40% to 60%

Speaking of Bubbler, I think I'm finally getting the hang of following the Pop It, Don't Drop It mantra. I'm activating the blasted thing before I jump into enemy-filled turf now.

I always think that I can get up my Kraken or Bubbler before I get splatted, but I'm 70% of the time wrong.
