I'm suddenly remembering why I was never a fan of the SS jr.

Says the guy who won the last round.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. Thanks for the fun Manaic, but I need to hope off. I need food.
Despite what you said about the SS jr., you did pretty well.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. No prob. And thanks it's been a while since I last used it.
There's just something so damn satisfying about ending up as the MVP on a lobby full of level 50s when using just the unupgraded starting gear and the Jr.
Lotta good those stacked Damage Ups are doing for ya, eh mate!?
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Just another reason show casing why getting triples aren't everything.
I remember someone on reddit doing a no upgraded starting clothes challenge and either got to S or S+.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Wouldn't surprise if all the best players could make it to S+ with just the starting gear. Perks may give you an edge in different circumstances, but they ain't a substitute for skill.
Implying I'm skilled. Again.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."HOOAH
Finally saved the Zap Fish again after my first save got erased... Seeeeeveral months ago?
My Agent 3 is an awfully lazy squid.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanOutside of some of the binary traits on main slots- Which, by definition, can't be added to gear's three other slots- They can offer an edge on opponents of roughly equal skill, but if they can't make up for a broader difference in capability. It's pretty well-designed, all in all.
I sure said that!I haven't gone back to default gear yet, but I did celebrate the Splatooniversery by finally hitting level 50. Took me long enough.
Also, which pieces were the defaults again?

We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.aha haaaaaaah
Best matches ever just now. It was just a solid 10 or something win streak in Rainmaker. Almost every time I was the one got the Rainmaker all the way down, the other few times we toughed it through a timeout.
Now to... To survive through B-...
I wish I was wearing clothes with open slots, but I just went in with the best, fully unlocked abilities.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanNice!
I'm sure you will do fine in B-.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersOh man, I had forgotten how ridiculous the Splattershot Jr.'s coverage is. I got a natural like four natural thousands with it in a row. At one point I actually got more points than the entire rest of my team combined (the other players were two squiffers and an inkbrush who was either trolling or didn't realize that it doesn't work the same way as a roller.
Reaction Image Repositorythe Splattershot Jr. is one of my main weapons. i'm consistently the top performer in terms of coverage whenever i use it. it's also great when you wanna go crazy and get into the enemy's face.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I was getting some serious flashbacks to my golden Aerospray days when I was use the SS jr. Watching half of my shots miss due to the wide spread of the gun was deja vu for me. Also, the SS jr. feels like it has a shorter range when compared to the Spamatic, so I had to get used to that. I adopted a "LET ME HUG YOU" strategy when trying to get kills.
I also gave the (Hero) Roller a shot. Quiet a lot of fun and I got a few good kills using the killer wail. But man, I really had to fight my shooter play style urges. Normally, I would lay down ink in front of me and swim forward to get around faster. Can't do that with a roller when I'm placing ink behind me most of the time.
Also, I learned a lesson I probably should have learned ages ago; I can rotate my camera to face directions other than straight ahead while I'm shooting/rolling. Why haven't I learned this until now? It can be a good way to recon your flanks.

We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.AAAAAAA I WASN'T HERE YESTERDAY
Anyone for a late anniversary anything?
Once I'm back at my apartment I can join in. Today is the anniversary of the EU release, isn't it?
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. It is?
Then I'm right on time!
A quick look at the wikipedia page has the release date as the 29th for the NA and EU market. 28th for Japan and 30th for Australia. So if we wanted, we can celebrate the anniversary of Aus tomorrow.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Or make it simple and celebrate the entire week!
...
I want splativersiry fun too. :(
ah, a full year of contemplating "am i a squid or a kid?"
