Speaking of Off the Hook, there's something I've been wondering about. Has Marina's family ever been mentioned?

I have no idea, I haven't been keeping up on the Splatoon lore (a big chunk I missed out on because I didn't get interested in the series until the third game's launch, and even then I mostly play it for the turf wars). All I know is that people are shipping Pearl and Marina, and...that's basically it.

I'm gonna have to finish up the DLC (I beat it but I haven't done the tower with every weapon) to see all the lore.

But the lore I've gotten so far does touch upon things such as sanitization, and the octolings living underground.

SO doesn't have much in terms of lore as it could be sum up as:Marina and some other Octoling engineers builds the memverse(title still pending) to help with the sanitized Octoling regain the memories they lost but the engineers deep down wanted to make a world of pure order so they the made Order AI to do such a thing and that's what happens in side order.

Also my only reason for beating both story modes in Splatoon 3 is to get the badges so I can brag about it indirectly on my banner.

If you're going for a low hack run, as noted at least one extra life is basically obligatory so you have a safety net if you get bad luck. Other than that, rerolls, Pearl Drone, and improved armor recovery are all helpful, though it's more up to personal preference depending on play style.

Besides Pearl, Marina's family hasn't come up in the series yet. There are bits that imply some (not all) Octolings are artificial constructs, like the beginning of OE, but we haven't gotten confirmation on Marina one way or another

That's a bit misleading. Order was not created on purpose. It's the subconscious grudges the engineers held against Marina for rebelling and defecting to Inkling society that seeped into the code and spawned it, like a sort of digital ghost

turns out marina was an experiment to make the gayest octopus possible and was a huge success.

This goes with my head cannon that the octolings we fight in story modes are clones as they have a different name in the Japanese versions of the games, while I believed that Marina, Acht and the playable octolings are the real deal.

no Order was created by Marina to help out with the memverse project but thought that her and the engineers that helped on the project wanted a world unchanged as thanks to DJ Octavio brainwashing so it went haywire.

Going around the hubs, this fest seems like a pretty even vote for once. I am once again forced to decide between what my heart says (rabbits) and who I think will win (either of the other two because I have completely lost hope in Frye)

When should I start my post meant for the Splatfest (Team Rabbit)? I'd really like for it to show up during actual Splatfest hours (around April 20th).

Undertow Spillway is getting reworked.

So late? I guess there have been later map updates (Shellendorf got an update after finalfest in splatoon 2) but it's still a surprise to see a level like Undertow go this long unchanged
