I'm probably in the minority, but I think I want to see more of this.
In fact, even though the odds of it happening are next to nil, I kinda want to see IDW make a miniseries about this (with permission and consulting by Studio Gainax, of course). In fact, I'd like to see this be an OVA from a studio like Studio Trigger or Gainax themselves (even though that'd be as impossible as an Evangelion X Transformers miniseries from IDW).
Come on, I can't be the only one who sees this as an interestingly random crossover, am I?
