Yeah, UBW is pretty stupid overall. The answer to everyone's favorite ideological conflict ends up being "no, I'm too stupid to think about the consequences of my actions".
It's why I prefer HF except for the ending and the penis worms).
And Fate in some ways.
UBW has the best fights though.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."I like Unlimited Blade Works because it gives a simple yet effective answer to Shirou's ideal.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Forget summoning Saber. Just use strengthening magic on you're arms, break the ropes, and bitch-slap Shinji across the room all in one fluid motion.
Pretty sure they recruited Shinji for the sole purpose of trolling him when betray him later. That sounds like something Kirei would do. Hell, it sounds like something most of us would do.
It would be pretty weird to have a Bazett cameo at this point, since it wouldn't integrate well with Archer and Shiro's fight at all. I'm not saying they won't do it, I would just rather they did it here.
So yeah, that was a lot of B-grade talking all episode. You know this episode needed? Akiyuki Shinbo. I want to see these guys get the Monogatari treatment.

I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointedLong dialogues about nothing, philosophical diatribes about nothing, postmodernism, fanservice, surreal visuals......Wait a minute. That isn't too far off the mark from Nasu's storytelling. O_O
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."That's not a remotely accurate description of the Monogatar series at all.
Archer in Ancient Rome... that would be freaking cool... what in the world would require a counter guardian.
Well, they say that when you are dying, your mind replays your life, so I guess they can add it as a way for Lancer to regain his strength. That in itself can be tied in the fight of the Emiyas.
With that in mind, I believe Lancer might even survive long enough to give the proverbial finger to Goldie.
Why do you think the Praetorians have such a bad reputation?

Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.Not enough siblings incest or lolicon pandering for it to be like Monogatari.
Monogatari doesn't have either of those things either though.
yea aside from the...toothbrush scene, not mch of that there.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. There's significantly more than that.
UBW doesn't mean "Nah Bro U wrong." It means "I will endure the consequences no matter what."
Sure could had fooled me, what with all the dialogue and stuff going on.

"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Wow, uh...
Wow.
Well, article out from Japan says that next episodes will be very different from the equivalent scenes in the VN. (http://bosel.blog64.fc2.com/blog-entry-3621.html)
To clarify: the plot isn't diverging, and the end result of the scene will be the same as it was in the VN. However, the execution will be very different.

Oh, maybe it won't be a cripple fight then.
Cripple fight? What does that mean?
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointedIt means that the original fight as portrayed in the VN is very visually unimpressive since Archer is at about 10% normal power since he doesn't have a Master and Shirou pushed himself too hard on his projections and caused his body some serious damage that hasn't healed yet.

It's been a while since I read the UBW route, but I think the reason they might change it is because of all the internal monologue leading to it, I dunno?
Two broken men trying to kill each other seems appropriate don't you think :V
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.My guess is that Archer is going to use UBW against Shirou again, only that this time UBW will start to shift towards what we see in the opening as the fight between the two scalates and Shirou's own world starts influencing in Archer's UBW.
There was no rule that said that one Reality Marble couldn't be absorbed/overpowered by another's right?.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.They skipped the opening, that's how you know shit is gonna get real.

It'd be a pretty boring ending if Saber just ended everything :V
