Where has that film noir thread gone to?

Anybody remember Shlapintogan's old "Private Eye Monologue the Troper before You"-thread? I had the urge to reread it, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Do old threads get deleted?

Thank you for the effort, but that's version II of the thread. The original one seems to have vanished, and I was wondering if (by chance) anyone knew if it had been moved or just straight up deleted.

If it died (went for a long period with no one making new posts) it was probably deleted. We do occasionally cut very old (and by "very old" I mean, the most recent post in it was made two or three years ago — sometimes longer than that) dead threads for space and cost reasons.

From the OP of the second thread, the first one had already disappeared sometime before the beginning of 2011.

Yeah, I figured that was what had happened to it - it was a very old thread indeed. Shame though, I remember it as quite entertaining Thanks anyhow Madrugada!
