Since it'll probably be relevant: you can put in a line break by putting two backward-slashes at the end of a line.
I mean
like this
you see?
Yes.
Just something I thought of earlier.
When nails bite like pins across my neck
Not yet breaking blood, but marking sweet skin
What kind of thing takes such twisted pleasure
In that sick and twisted pain
Don't you answer simple and say
The one making those marks in red and blood
No. That sick and twisted sense of want, of need
Wanting to be the one to hurt and bleed
All of that... belongs to me.
And when fingers slash across your face or back
Biting deep with each twisting lash
With each silent scream you feel you lack
It only keeps you coming back.
Violence is my romance; these marks, my pride

Feminist in the streets, sex slave in the sheets
Now, there's a lot of people who enjoy writing poetry with their prose (or prose with their poetry, I'm looking at you Shakespeare). However, there isn't a place on here for people to let their poetic side fly....
Hence, this very thread. A place for you to ask for critiques, help, or even just to let others read your work. I'll be posting a poem or two once I get back my laptop and off the iPad, myself.
