Huh. You'd think that shows like Space Dandy or Excel Saga or Bobo Bo would be too... "exuberant" for an Abridged Series. The first two episodes I've watched of Space Dandy have largely been comedy, and the series itself is, what, 24 episodes? So the Abridged should be somewhere between 6-14 episodes, or at least until Season 2 comes out.

The abridged series makes SD even more funnier in some aspects though IMO.

It'd be like if somebody made a parody of Mad Magazine. What's the point?
The funnier thing to do would be to make an abridged series that just shows the more serious parts of the show and Reconstructs it into an epic space drama.

Looked around Youtube to find several groups working on it. Last count a week ago or so consist of four SD abridged series.
