This trope is NOT supposed to be about spiky bladed villain mashup spaceships like Star Trek 2009's "Narada." That is exactly what this trope was supposed to avoid. Using Eldritch Starship to label every big villainy ball of spikes and bladed tentacle things in sci-fi is a misuse of this trope and the use of the Narada image is the biggest offender. Eldritch Starship is about improbably weird starships like the Heart of Gold from Hitchhiker's Guide or the weird bubble ship from the "Fountain," stuff that took more than four brain cells to design, NOT giant bladed villain spaceships we could all doodle on napkins.

If your spaceship is a bunch of spikes that aren't physically connected to each other but move as one... I'd say that's Eldritch Spaceship. But boring balls of spikes with engines and a big glowing maw need not apply. Been there. Done that. Yawn.

If it's decided we need a trope for "Aggressive Spiky Villain Spaceship," by all means, make that page and make the Narada your flagship. But please respect that this trope is being abused as long as the Narada reigns on the article page.

Declining to open.

You have presented absolutely no evidence that the trope is being misused, that the page is flawed in anyway (except that you don't like the page image), or that the page needs TRS at all.

Do not use TRS to try to force a page image change when you don't get your way in IP.

Further single-issue wonkery on this topic may get you a workshops ban.
