I honestly think you should go about this your own way. Think about a game you really like playing that you haven't seen in a while.

Also, what's your end goal in making a mobile game? Is it making an app for the sake of making an app? Making something that people would like? Money?

My advice: Decide what YOU want to make, and make it. If you ask in a diverse forum like this, you'll get a whole bunch of vastly varying suggestions, many of which will be mutually exclusive with each other. Then you'd have to pick and choose, which amounts to just doing whatever you want to do again. So save yourself some time and cut to the chase.

Well i already have two projects running: a very casual, mario-esque venture and a survival horror (you know it). My post here on tvtropes is a bit of crowdsourcing: if you could have someone else make it, what game would you want to see on the app store?
