Would a deconstructive mons Affectionate Parody (of Pokemon) be worthwhile? I was thinking of making one, but I'd have to make up an entire cast of Mons and their abilities, strengths, weaknesses, etc. That's a lot of work so I was wondering if making an Affectionate Parody of Pokemon is too overdone or not?

I might be alone here, but I think you could take some notes from how Kamen Rider Ryuki handled deconstructing the Mons genre.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great

You can also look at Naru Taru and arguably Shin Megami Tensei, though that comes off more as an Unbuilt Trope.

That being said the Original Devil Survivor is a good example for a good Mons deconstruction.

The parody part is harder though.

I haven't heard too much of this kind. The only thing close to this was Latex Forehead Strapon by SexuaLobster from what I saw.

If it's a game, then I probably can help you, but I decided to make a sourcemod, called Yandere Simulator, so I may not have too much time for it.
