Video ads?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but recently there's been a lot of video ads going up.

This is really, really annoying. They play sound without warning, so I'm forced to not use TV Tropes when I'm at school/work, and half of them don't pause when I try to.

Additionally, it slows the website down a ton. Even as I'm writing this post, my cursor is jerking around and the text is coming in large chunks, rather than flowing neatly. My computer isn't bad, and this doesn't happen on any other website but TV Tropes.

I don't know if you guys choose your ads, but could you PLEASE take a look at which provider you're using and prune out any video ones? Because this is getting ridiculous and I'm at the point where I might just stop using the site for awhile until (if?) it gets cleared up.
