I have noticed recently that alot of films and books seem a common thread for their Protaginists, 10 to 15 year oldes who get caught in paranormal or occult mysteries. Caroline, Paranorman,Psyconauts,Gravity Falls, a couple versions of Scooby-Doo. Seems like a trope is in order, but I do not have the know how or the skill to write it, it will need more than the 5 examples I have, and I have No idea on a good name for it. So, would anyone mind helping me on this, please?
