My desire to write Teen Titans Fanfic has dried up

Teen Titans was one of my favorite animated TV shows during its initial run and remained so sometime after its end (heck, i was one of the people hoping for a comeback with a Sixth season). So, naturally, i wanted to write some stories for it, i even spent a great deal of time working on a movie idea for it: a movie that would have introduced new allies, new villains and the return and reforming of Terra and Blackfire. Granted, certain aspects used in my story were borrowed from other shows and movies (including certain characters), but i was trying to give credit where credit was due.

I received quite a lot of negative comments when i posted my ideas online in a forum, but i kept at it and never relented to their comments about "squashing my ideas once and for all". However, these days, i seem to have lost my muse to write Teen Titans fanfics, i barely even watch (or even think about) the actual show anymore. What's a guy to do?

Read the original Teen Titans comic series? Or fanfics like ''The Titans and the Lost Boy'' or it's sequel, ''Dark Titans''? Write something else? Learn martial arts, dress up in blue and white spandex, and fight crime as the Bluejay?

Older Young Justice animated fanfics are amusing, as a great deal of the initial ones were clearly made by migrants from the Teen Titans fanbase who were using their fics to forcibly turn Young Justice into Teen Titans, which turned me off of YJ fics for a while until its own fanbase grew a bit.

I once had an bunch of ideas for the Teen Titans, which would've been an excruciatingly long chain of connected storylines. But after starting my excruciatingly long ATLA storyline and semi-working on my other, less-excruciatingly long Jackie Chan Adventure storyline, I figured I'd never be able to follow through on the plot and folded most of the ideas into either my other fanfics or my real life ideas.

I wonder if we should have a Teen Titans fic thread. It's interesting how present the TT fanbase and fanfic industry still is. Not as much as it used to be, but still fairly strong.

I managed to run into this one as a chance to shill my new piece, here.

It's BB/Raven, yes, and the Christmas theme was hamfisted on there just because i discovered it in my hard drive about a week ago, from mid 2013, and decided to change it from a multichapter to a one-shot, and hustle it out (and i swore i'd be off fan-fiction, and i mostly have stuck to that).

Really, Raven's powers are a fount of potential fic ideas, just between "Nevermore" and "Fear Itself," which are what i deployed here.
