x3
Academia's stated goal is to fuse all the dimensions though. Like this was stated back in episode 41 if I'm remembering correctly. Hell I'm pretty sure Heartland being destroyed isn't even their usual MO seeing as they got Rin without destroying City and their leader has outright said that Standard wasn't their enemy and the only reason they attacked Standard was to get rid of Shun and Yuto whilst them attacking City now was entirely to get Serena/Selena back as well as capture Yuzu now that they're aware of her existence which they clearly weren't before Sora ended up back home during the Miami Youth Championship.
So really all we know is their goal but not why that's their goal or why the XYZ Dimension seems to be the only on they actively tried to destroy despite that being contrary to said goal.
They don't want to fuse with XYZ scum.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yeah. The destruction of the XYZ dimension is interesting. It's the only place they outright invaded. There's clearly something behind that.
One Strip! One Strip!? (rewatches scene) Oh, well, I guess that would be why the XYZ Dimension is next, but Barrett hitting the wrong button would be rather anticlimactic. (assuming that's not an animation error or there's some unrevealed reason why he'd send her there instead of directly to Academia).
This just popped into my head, but how often do people actually miss timing in this series? there've been cases where stuff was delayed for so long, you'd think this was a non-issue.

No one's ever missed the timing in any of the animes or mangas.
That makes the latest case of that... Really weird. It's like they made that a thing JUST for this episode.
Sergey didn't miss the timing, the mind control chip in his brain malfunctioned. This caused him to forgot activating his "Earthbound Magic Seal".
In GX, Asuka once missed the timing during her tag team duel with Judai against Kenzan and Rei.
I thought that was because Judai was having trouble being a team player and enjoying duels at the time.
One Strip! One Strip!Judai's attitude distracted her from playing her card, but she straight up said, "Oh no, I missed the timing!"
@Nickpws Yeah, Sergey didn't miss the timing, he straight up didn't activate the card. His Dueling program matrix thing is apparently less advanced than the ones we have if he malfunctions when Yuya does something like that.
This is it, guys. This is the legacy left to us by 5D's.
(spoilers for this week's episode, naturally)
So he's a double nod to both the Dark Signers (using Earthbound Gods) and the Yliaster trio / Aporia (being a cyborg who can merge with his bike) then?
I'm slightly annoyed I missed that.
One Strip! One Strip!Anyone seen this?
I can give a play-by-play if anyone doesn't get what happened.
Hey, even Japan does those!
Difference being the voice actors themselves are playing the cards on stage. And the production values are clearly higher.
Oh, yeah, I've seen that one. It's absolutely glorious.
That is waaaay better then the American ones.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEMonosubs is late and Neo Ark Cradle has only subbed up to 91. Basically 93 has no subs yet.
Duel 93: AND ACTION!
- If Sora was truly the enemy, why would he be chilling with everyone there?
- Shingo's so easy to read. Say the right stuff and he'll call it quits on being aggressive.
- So Sergey's a secret member of Yliaster.
Check where Barrett's finger was pointing on the DM program - he can't take her to the professor because that's not the dimension he just sent them too.
