Can't edit a page because it is checked out by myself?

Hey, ya'll, I tried to edit the Tear Jerker page for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After adding in one line, I clicked preview, then save, but the new edit did not appear. Worrying I'd messed up the line somehow, I tried to go edit the page but it said that the page was checked out by ME so I could not edit the page. I thought the "check-out" ended once I hit save? And is there a reason the edit did not appear?

Pretty weird. Can you edit elsewhere?
