Tomari appears briefly befuddled by the idea of things not needing a giant robot, but he's clearly not up to coping with your in-your-face attitude and drops the slide rule. "As I said, the engineering club is the most likely to actually be able to actually use the control unit. Although it's always possible the wrestleball club took it because it was shiny-looking."

"Oh..." Meowkie's eyes look up. "I guess? Some people say that, yeah. But... I think I still gotta do a little more readin' before I can go around sayin' that!" Meowkie looks around. "I hang around the halls a lot on my free time so... I guess I musta picked somethin' up!" She scratches her head. "I kinda like this place, y'know? There're always troublemakers, but they're not so bad, really. And the halls're always nice and clean..." Suddenly, Meowkie stops herself before she goes on too far. "Heh! That's probably enough talkin' about myself for one day. So, why're ya askin'?"

She looks up from her phone screen."Nyaaa! We should probably get going and find her. Don't wanna upset anybody, y'know?" As soon as Meowkie shuts the lid on her phone, a sudden shouts rings across the room:
"You! Hall Monitor Cat whose name eludes me! There's been cat hair left at a crime scene. Do you know who it could have come from?" He then adds, "Er, feel free to ignore that if that was a racist question."
Hall monitor? A cat? Oh no! He was talking to her! Frantically, she looks back at her phone, then to him, the phone, then to him. "Um... okay, I can look at that real quick, but I gotta go soon, okay?" With a cat's eye, she examines the hair.
Superior Cat-Speaker 3 + 1 Miraculous Will for Intention 4 "Figure out where this darned hair comes from... hopefully before I disappoint Terezi or anything."

"Sorry Al, but me and Marshmallow here are already on an investigation. Remember the stuff with Miller and that self-called Princess?" Nidia stealthly took the medallion from under her cloak, and then quickly hid it again. "We're searching for the true owner," and for more information on what it is. She didn't say. She wasn't sure how much she trusted them to know about it. Well, she herself knew nothing about it, and was constantly exposing people about the draconic importance of her book of prophecy, but had she ever told them she would someday turn into a dragon to save them all from imminent death? Wait, for how long had she been thinking?
"Oh, and uh... Hi, I guess." It was an habit of people to greet each other, no? Sometimes Nidia thought so much stuff happens that she didn't even know what proper behavior was.
Is this building up into some sort of Scooby-Doo spoof? 
Obsessed handsome guy, talking animal, Investigation expert and... Uh, I don't know where Nidia fits?

Meowkie stands, confused. Not to complain too much, she thought, but it was hard doing all this... talking to people. She looks over at Nidia, mouth slightly opened, and then back to Al. "But uh, also... this hair looks like it's from either a really big cat, or some kinda mutant." She rolled the thought around in her head. "Maybe... Tat would know about it? Maybe? Possibly?"

Nidia's and Meowkie's phones chime simultaneously, but Nidia doesn't notice...
Nidia
...because you suddenly find yourself looking down at a view of Namco City in flames. As you watch, a horde of gears emerges from Evil Namco High, swarming like army ants and remaking everything they pass into some dark and forsaken machine. Hovering above the tide of cogwheels, you see a half-and-half black and white panther, a pirate queen in chains, a dragon with a crown around its neck like a collar, a shadowy figure with a broken horn, a hooded shape with a pool cue that casts a much larger shadow than itself, and looming above them all, a human shape forged out of metal vines. A smell of steel, incense and decay hovers around them all.
As you ascend, you see a distant land of night and madness, and a castle forged from unreason and the death of worlds. Through its windows, you see an angel of fire and a horned steel prince, trapped in ice.
Above, the stars fall from the sky.
A voice speaks: "THE THORN MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO WIELD THE BLADE. FOLLOW THE RINGS."
Then you find yourself back at Club Day, your collapse apparently arrested by a rather awkward landing on the table in Terezi's booth.

Nidia opened her eyes, and saw the remains of a Club Booth. For a second she panicked, thinking the End of the World as We know It had happened in the blink of an eye. Gears and cogs, rebuilding the land into a twisted, dark machine. All erupting from Evil Namco High and the evil forces that there live. Fire, steel, ice. All worlds die, and all stars fall. An order is issued.
"The thorn! The thorn!" Nidia shifts from her awkward position and springs up. "Must not be allowed to wield the blade!" She yells, staring at the present students with the eyes that reek of either wisdom or madness. "Follow the rings!"
Adrenaline still running through her veins, a memory from the future still fresh in her mind, the puzzle pieces tries to assemble in her mind. She must not disappoint the dragon gods. She needs to put an end... To the end of the world.
Interpret Prophecy 2 + 1 Will for Intention: "Speak aloud the meaning of the prophecy in a cohesive way."

If we stay here I guess I would finally be able to stop writing such short posts @_@ Alternatively Nidia and Meowkie could stay while Terezi goes looking for Hiromi and we get to have a cat/dragon talk in the meantime?
