Before I clicked, I thought this was a sequel to that freebie bumper car game that came with Windows 95.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great^My first thought as well.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelThe game looked good. Then I found out about Hideki Naganuma.
Now I NEED it.
Pretty much my exact thought process. Hell, I'd be hyped even if the game looked bad. At very least, we'll be getting an amazing soundtrack out of this.
Thankfully, the game doesn't look bad. Though I can't say I'm a huge fan of first-person. I'll definitely give it a shot, but I'm hoping that the controls don't feel off in third-person in case I end up needing to use them.
I have no title.Excuse the double post, but I just pre-ordered a Hideki Naganuma album for $70.

Oh, and I also got a bonus video game and digital encyclopedia.
I have no title. So they reached the funding goal that doubles the size of the city.
Ooh, I'd like a Wii U version.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectYeah. I'm really hoping it reaches that. I'd also like to see the hoverboards and hookshot make it in. This kind of game is just made for that kind of movement.
It looks very close to the goal. I may chip in, since download codes would be the only way I could play this on the Wii U anyway. My credit card doesn't work in this region.
I do hope they get a good editor and writer to help them, since English doesn't seem to be their first language.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI've put in my two cents. Just enough to get the thing, though.
Erm, $38K is nowhere near enough to make a game, what are they funding exactly?
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I put money down for an OST and encyclopaedia. Wii U goal here we come.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWe finished well. Not enough for everything, but pretty good.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOh man I hope someone uploads the soundtrack when they get it. Believe me I'd pitch in if I could and feel kinda bad about saying the above, but it's freaking Naganuma. Can you say Cult Classic?
Oh my god, I had no clue there was a thread for this! This game looks insanely fun to me. I backed it $30 in the kickstarter, and it's probably my most anticipated game at the moment. I love crazy jumps and high-speed, and it seems few games have those anymore.
Was it ever confirmed that Skankfunk of Air Gear fame and Naganuma were indeed the same person?
Another comparison. They even use the same sample!!!!
Humming the bassline and Not Hummin , but Vibin?
It's possible Skankfunk is just a huge Hideki fanboy. There's some differences in the style but a lot of similarities as well.

Seems pretty confirmed Naganuma's Skankfunk. Both artists tend to release music around the same time, his Youtube account calls him a friend of his, and his twitter has some thanks to him. SO it seems a bit of an open secret.
Huzzah! Now I know the name of this game again! Like others before me, I thought the game looked cool when I first saw it but then I needed it in my life as soon as I heard Hideki Naganuma was on board.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!So I got it Early Access on Steam.
Holy balls this game is amazing.
It really needs a lot of work, though. At the moment, it feels more like a demo or the foundation of a game rather than a full game in it's own right. There's just not much to do. But it's fun.
Well, it is still in Alpha so that's to be expected.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!True, but most early access games I've played feel mostly complete. Maybe I'm just lucky like that, though.
That likely depends on a large number of things but my guess is that the biggest factor is what kind of game you're playing. For a lot of games, the core mechanics are pretty simple and there are a large number of things to add on to them so an alpha build will feel more like a completed game. In a game like this, the core mechanics are fairly complex and the entire experience will succeed or fail depending upon how the core mechanics are executed. Everything in a game like this is second to the core mechanics so, if the designer is any good, they'll only be added after the core mechanics are near flawless.
My guess is that the devs will start adding everything else once the game enters its beta phase which won't happen until after they feel like the core mechanics are as close to perfect as they can get.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Hover now has a completely new city and a couple new features. The city was changed due to performance issues and possibly other stuff as well, but I'm getting just as bad a framerate as I always was, and I'm not big the new city either.

Looks to be a high-speed Mirrors Edge+Jet Set Radio hybrid, though there's a toggle for third-person view. Never heard of Fusty Game before, but this looks pretty good for what's supposedly just an alpha build made in 4 months by 3 people. Seeing as how it's already Greenlit on Steam, plenty of people seem to agree.
What REALLY got my attention was hearing that Hideki freaking Naganuma would be contributing to the soundtrack. Automatic interest from me. That's way too hype to ignore. I seriously need some place to discuss this or else I might explode or something.
Current release plans are PS 4, Wii U, Xbox One, and PC/Mac/Linux. They're also apparently planning a Kickstarter. I can only hope that my wallet isn't completely devoured on the day that launches.
