Do YOU even know where they are today? Like Right now, perhaps?
I'd love to see THAT happen, but as a realist, I'd keep dreaming...
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.... I have a feeling some of them are on Disney's 7D. Paul Rugg is heading the writing staff on that.
And Tom Ruegger and Sherri Stoner and Randy Rogel and Deanna Oliver. It's like an Animaniacs reunion at Disney.

...Well then, you know what we need to do right?
Sigh... do you think they're going to listen to us??? Sounds like a noble goal - but I don't see it happening...
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.They'll listen if given the proper... incentive . -steeples fingers-
i. hear. a. sound. Here's some new info from the TV Guide issue:
-The series is set to debut sometime in 2015.
-A redesigned Squeaks the Squirrel appeared in the issue
-Bugs will be going up against Barbarians, Ninjas, and Terminators
-Taz will be featured, but he will now be known as Theadore Tasmanian. He will work in the accounting department and is repressing his true wild and crazy self
-Wile E. Coyote is going to be an annoying, know-it-all neighbor
-4 shorts per episode
-Erik Kuska will be producing the show (he was an animator on Looney Tunes: Back in Action)
-The show is staying away from cliches (aka no anvils)

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022)...... wait... so we're getting SOME characters domesticated, but not ALL of them? I'm confused. I think this is the kind of cartoon you can't understand until you really see it.
Taz has a mundane everyday job.
Wile E. is a wacky neighbor.
There'll be no anvils and such.
So... this is kinda a retooled The Looney Tunes Show but switching the roles around after all, right? So far it sounds more like more Slice of Life than real old style slapstick. Granted, then we have the ninja and Terminators, but still.

So CN only learned SOME lesson from the last show.
\*Bangs head against a wall*
SMART TAZ? ANNOYING WILE? WISE-CRACKING BUGS!?!?
This is gonna suck ass isn't it?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice.... Bugs was always wise-cracking....
That's just it: Compared to everybody else so far, he's like the Spongebob of the town, unless Dafty is there to become take the fall for every adventure.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice[sigh]
Sounds more like a Bugs-themed retooled version of The Looney Tunes Show with some role reversals instead of a genuine revisit of the humor of the original shorts. At least it won't have Daffy stealing the spotlight again, at the very least.
Also it's coming in 2015? Why did they announce the show so early then?

has a clue, but it's usually not the correct one 0.55% of the timeSo let me get this straight. Our first information about this comes from an article regarding the Upfront as "bringing the characters back to their original wacky selves", and now, we're getting word that it "won't have any of the cartoon cliches, like anvils"!?!? Which the Hell is it!?
-looks at new info-
-Jaw Drop-
I think that this video describes all our reactions to this...
I do know that a certain retired You Tuber is gonna be pissed at this. ESPECIALLY considering that he has a TV Tropes account!

boop I'm more active on hereSo...this basically sounds like The Looney Tunes show only Daffy has been kicked to the curb and Taz is no longer Bug's pet.
Yeah I'm sticking with the classics. I will probably never watch this or the Looney Tunes Show
The promo drawing looks nice though. Bugs looks very appealing

Supports cartoons being cartoony!Have to give it a shot, at least. Wise-cracker has been Bugs' consistent incarnation. Coyote as the know-it-all neighbor would be just a more domesticated version of the episode where Wile E tried to eat Bugs, talked, and kept going on about how much of a genius he was (which was a very good short, iirc).
Why do they feel the need to change Taz? They kind of turned him into a dog in The Looney Tunes Show! Do they think that his character doesn't work for today's audiences?
Let's be honest: We would rather have Taz Mania Taz than this guy.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceAt least in Taz-Mania he was more or less the Taz we remember.
They'll never do it since they don't want to even aknowledge older TV shows, but it'd be a nice twist if this Taz is so civilized because his Taz-Mania family finally succeeded at making him like them.

We need the writers from Animaniacs on this. That was the last Warner Bros. cartoon I can remember that did jokes on contemporary celebrities the right way.
