It comes out a week after my birthday (thought it will probably only be released in early September).
The visual aesthetic is intact, so it's a good thing (there's some bits which look more animated to me, which is always good, as long as it doesn't delve into Uncanny Valley territory).
Some of the cast is back, so we'll have Alba in more Stripperrific outfits.
Though I'm not sure if Joseph Gordon-Levitt should even be in this movie. I'm skeptical about what his performance will be.
It looks good to me. Maybe it won't be as great as the first one, but still...
My only complain is that Lady Gaga is on the cast list (according to IMDb).

She plays a waitress. Probably three lines at most.
I'm a skeptical squirrelThis style in three Dee sounds like it could be something as original as the style was when it first deputed in the first movie.
I also can't pretend that seeing a conclusion of the senator story is overdue.
Also Lady Gaga is a brilliant actress under Rogreideiz' direction and I wont hear anything against that.
Yeah, but Machete 2 was still a bad sequel that didn't need to be made, and really didn't need Lady Gaga in it. Or half the stars that were in it.
And wasn't Lady Gaga played by other people except for like one scene or something in Machete 2?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatAdmittedly the trailer isn't too engaging. I always thought this was ripe material for sequels — like Marv said, go down any back alley — so let's wait and see. Hopefully Eva won't end up shouldering the load of an entire movie again.

I'm a skeptical squirrelSo, lots of "average" and "meh" reviews, but I thought it was awesome. Like, it actually thrilled and saddened and stirred my feelings all around. It was a great movie.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
A little late, no? At first I was kind of hyped, then saw the trailer, then saw all the ____ by Frank Miller, and now I'm like meh. I don't think this will deliver like the first, which is one of my favorite movies of all time.
