Well, from what I hear the LEGO movie is absolutely fantastic, and Minecraft is essentially LEGO, so, makes sense.

I mean, despite the similarities, LEGO is a lot more open-ended than Minecraft.
Also, I wonder how many people will be frothing mad that they didn't do it in the style that they play: that is, something with bug-exploiting and amoral engines of slaughter and that takes an environmental approach similar to the Once-ler from The Lorax before he realized what he did was wrong.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.
This will either be the best or the worst thing ever.
