Game Theory: The Smartest Show in Gaming

lol. Noticed that YMMV page for game theory is pretty much just complaining about the show.

I mean, could be just me, but I do note that for some unpopular things YMMV page seems to be just excuse for complaining about stuff rather than nothing the subjective or divisive tropes .-.

One of the Game Theory editors, Ronnie Edwards, acted as a jackass to volunteer staff at E3. Mat Pat has taken notes of this and promised that there will be consequences for the behavior.

What happened in that video? I didn't see it.

IIRC somebody close to him died, shortly before or after some controversy going on with the channel. You can hear his voice trembling as he explains further.

So Comic Drake did video on why he left channel two years ago... Because he got annoyed about the speculation(they parted away on good terms )

Honestly, it is nice to hear videos on people leaving the channel that are actually positive with all the youtube drama amount

Random thought.

After watching about several dozen videos, I realized that they are less about actually making sense but more of sounding sensible. At least when one is watching them, it sounds convincing.

Thank God Mat Pat never became a con artist because he would be pretty good.

@ dRoy: You can call some of his theories cringe, reaching or even click baity but I respect Mat Pat for being unironically wholesome. Though maybe that's just me being cynical at how common the "asshole celebrity" cliche is

Style Theory is more general. Also, all the other theories have monosyllabic words; film, game, food and now style

Really sad that Matpat doesn't do actual livestreams anymore and more so glorified podcasts, but atleast the contents haven't changed.
