Legendary...?
Anyway, the only standouts for me were:
"I cannot begin to apologize." "Eh, that's what friends are for." "I am fairly certain it's not."
And the two page spread of Cyclops downing a Sentinel, followed by Wolvie's, "Sometimes, I remember why you're in charge."
Kitty finding Colossus was a particularly powerful moment. Just an incredible scene. Their conversation after was great, too.
Cyclops blasting the Sentinel was awesome. Cyclops is a badass. Likewise, Cyclops coming up with a plan that involves dying so he can be resurrected within the enemy base, and then blowing a hole in the supposedly impenetrable wall.
An awesome moment right at the end, Wolverine's wallowing about Kitty's death, and Armour challenges him to a fight. He says his claws can pierce her armour. "You can try." You go, girl.
Also, all the banter. Lots and lots of funny banter.

Okay, maybe not exactly legendary (especially when comparing it to Chris Claremont's work on the X-Men), but still a pretty good modern X-Men series!

I agree about Kitty finding Colossus being a beautiful moment. I just loved the shocked expression on Kitty's face when Colossus just ran through her as it was so powerful!
I personally think that Cyclops was done a lot of justice in this run (heck, everyone was done some justice during this run) and I really loved the scene where he blasts the enemy base and his kickbutt line at the end:
"Come to me, X-Men. Time to finish this!"
Like you mentioned, the bantering between the characters were fantastic!!!

Whedon really had some great Cyclops moments.
That said, I really, really like Cassandra Nova's brainwashing of Wolverine, and how it takes a beer can to the head to snap him back to normal.

1. Colossus being resurrected.
2. Colossus' joke about destroying the Breakworld.
3. Kitty fighting Emma Frost.
4. Kitty phasing the bullet.
5. Colossus and Kitty kissing each other for the first time.
6. Colossus and Wolverine performing the Fastball Special.
7. Wolverine saying he loves beer.
