How old is he?
Check out my fanfiction!I think they said he's 12.
IIRC Nike is.....17? Maybe? I think they said in the first episode. Maybe 16(would fit with the whole intro party thing). I'd be surprised if she was outside the 15-18 range.
It's Shoujo?....that kinda explains alot.

The Other Wiki says Livius is 15.
That makes fanservice of him "a bit" dubious. Not his gender.
Check out my fanfiction! That's not what bubbles was complaining about, which is what I responded to. He was complaining that it was fanservice for girls.
What do you think my comment about, "Not his gender," was referring to if not that?
Check out my fanfiction!I actually thought that was a response to me, not to him. Okay then.
That's surprising. I'm was sure the butler said he was 12 in the second episode. Not worth checking however. And it would be weird for the butler to referring to him as "kid" when he's that old.
Although teenage girl who look 5+ years younger are common enough in anime. Having a guy like that is fair.
A butler with that voice is someone I'd expect to be snarky, though.
Check out my fanfiction!Sucky pop song aside, episode 3 puts this series back to being good. Nike and Livius have chemistry, at least.
Nike's party dress was gorgeous. And somehow the chef has become my favorite minor character.
on a totally unrelated note i recently just watched the walking dead and a young boy was almost raped.. it was really intense lol, maybe that's why i feel quite upset by that

Fighting crime, trying to save the world~I don't think it was very blatant. But then, someone not wearing clothes doesn't automatically say fanservice to me.
Check out my fanfiction!"free!" at a glance looks pretty fanservice-type to me
Fighting crime, trying to save the world~Your eyes are not wrong.
Naked Livius doesn't seem fanservice-y to me, outside of niche tastes.
Egads! A whole new page-and-a-half when I get back??
For some reason.... I think the streaming site I used to watch this show dropped it.
I hope you all like Tender Rain, because it looks like this will be used COUNTLESS TIMES throughout this whole show!

well.. at least the song has a nice melody.. the clouds effects are beautiful too adding more charm to her song.
Fighting crime, trying to save the world~Hmm, looks like we're skipping two whole arcs, but I suppose it's inevitable if they want to end at the place where I think they'll end the show in.
In any case, it's the Ring of Tales arc. This should be good.
I really like how the characters in this show can be very comical without losing context.
Same as usual.... Wing it.What happened in the two arcs the show skipped?
And do you mean comical even when they're taken out of context?

We get to meet Livi's childhood friend Luna, and his uncle Bardouin. Both of their arcs give more context to Livi's personality prior to becoming Sun King (wants to quietly read books and move to a small house in the country with his mother), his personality a year or so after becoming the Sun King (Luna in particular was terrified at what he had become), and how both compare to how he acts now that Nike's around.

Skipping two whole arcs!? The episodes are going by fast enough as it is!
Episode 4. In which she gets a prayer of a chance.
They both smile at each other, then turn away. Well, at least they share a mentality in one thing.
Okay, I hate that guy already. She has a healthy energy and movement, so there's no change needed.
"Just don't tell that pompous ass." Jaina's a great guy.
Okay, a plot about a broken engagement is usually an end-season plot, in that cliché "will they leave?" kind of way, but here it's immediatly presented as a bad thing that neither wants. Kudos. I'm just hoping they won't go with yet another variation for the season end, though.
It's okay to protect her. Just don't expect her to sit still being protected.
Yeah, he seems reasonable. Then he brings up the quite obvious issue someone who worships the Sun God would have with someone who can summon clouds.
Sure, obvious Tear Jerker scene with the orphanage and all, but even so, it still works.
Good map...
So she realised that. "Many princesses have lost their lives there." Key word being princesses. Nike's not your average princess.
Nice trap. Nice cliffhanger.
Check out my fanfiction! The middle of the episode with the little peasant children almost teared me up.
This episode convinces me that they are deliberately evoking retro shoujo anime, what with the cliche narration at the bookends.
Nike's not your average princess! She's NIKE!

...Are you seriously implying that fanservice for girls in a shoujo series is a bad idea?
