While this was going on (and I was asleep) Gai was busy summoning his armour from elsewhere. Orichalculm plates materialise around him before flying to place (in a manner not dissimilar to the mark 47 from iron man 3) as his Golden carapace materialises.

Whipping the drab brown cloth from his ornate golden blade, Gai dives into the fray.

(2 motes for whirlwind armor-donning prana, none to actually summon because that's actually the end of a charm, although I was already down one for the charm commitment to begin with)

The blazing bolt of Solar glory struck the Dragon-blooded warrior but appeared to barely scratch the Terrestrial Exalt. Suddenly a massive warrior in golden plate burst into the fight wielding a glorious blade that caught the light of the rising flames and shone with all the glory of the Unconquered Sun.

Man I kinda waxed poetic there didn't I?

Vi got to her feet again and raised her freshly reloaded Prayer Piece, using the distraction by the newly arrived Solar to carefully aim at the lead Dragonblooded.

(Aim Action)

Hammer's attention was abruptly ripped away from his attempts at remaining inconspicuous when he felt something all at once familiar and not. Essence was being spent, and nearby. Already, the sounds of frantic feet could be heard as people were running from something. Breaking into a jog, Hammer ran towards the apparent source of the chaos, even as scores of civilians ran the opposite direction.

Spotting the tavern was easy enough, as he could see flames licking hungrily at the air from windows. He couldn't see too clearly who was inside, but he could see a Dragon-Blooded standing near the door. As far as first targets go, this was a good one. Clenching his fist, Hammer took two steps forward and swung his fist. It was a slightly exaggerated movement, one that might have been fairly obvious and easily blocked up close. But from ten yards away, it would have looking like he was swinging at air. Right up until the blow connected with the back of the Dragon-Blooded's head.

(3 motes to activate my Force Projection Gauntlets for the rest of the scene. 1 Mote for Solar Hero style Fists of Iron Technique. +4 to MA from Seven-Leaping-Monkey Hearthstone.

"You know," said Gai, addressing the Dynasts, "I can't help but wonder what we've done that warranted the three of you coming here and setting the place on fire. Seems a bit disproportionate, really. I was just having a drink."

Sih breaks in a feral grin as the immaculates reveal themselves, diving under the table and emerging with sabers in Hand. The golden blades flash in the light of the tavern as she leaps atop a table in front of the Dragonbloods, bellowing loud enough that the entire tavern-and likely most of the street-can hear her.

"ALRIGHT! WHO WANTS TO DANCE! DANCE WITH ME BASTARDS!"

With that, she starts to swing at the first Dragonblood, cutlasses lashes out like rending claws, in quick, brutal flurry, going to hamstring him from behind, then slit his throat.

(Five attacks, 16, 15, 14, 13, and 12 dice + stunt.)

Soru slid back from the wild unaimed swings content in knowing that his armor hid him from sight. Even while moving he was all but an imperceptible blur. As one particular swing left the dragonblood over extended, the Night Caste slid back into melee combat this time attempting to wrap the chain around the dragonblood's weapon arm and then taking the scythe blade portion of the kusari gama and attempting to jam the point of it deep into the man's shoulder.

(No motes again)

The lead Dragon-Blood desperately parries the first three attacks but the last two strike home leaving deep gouges in the armor of the Wyld Huntsman. The Exalt fighting an unseen enemy felt the chain wrap 'round his arm but was then struck by a massive blow from behind him, that due to his entangled arm, he couldn't dodge. This blasted both him and his unseen foe to the ground.

Vi waited until Sih was finished distracting him and pulled the trigger.

(Aim action End. 3 Motes for Blossom of Inevitable Demise Technique to double Base Damage. Target is still the lead DB ;) )

As Sabyn dodged backwards, avoiding his opponents attack, a sudden glint came into his eye. Dropping his sword on the ground, he charged forward, straight towards his opponent, but as the dragonblooded swung his sword, Sabyn leapt onto the flat of his blade using it as a springboard to launch himself up in to the air. As he flipped gracefully over the combatants heads, he locked eyes with the Dragonblooded commander.

"Hello gorgeous." he said.

Now upside down in mid flip, he extended his hands, palms facing out.

"COBRA GAZE, FIRE!!!!!!"

And a torrent of green energy blasted from his hand.

Combo: Monkey Leaping Technique+Uncoiling Serpent Prana (Also using the preestablished Foe Vaulting Method to try and suprise the commander. PS: Is there anyway I can spend motes or willpower to increase the damage?)

Shimmering in the flame light, Gai twirls his blade in an arc before launching a devastating blow against one of the still-standing dynasts.

(9 motes for first melee excellency)

The commander fell back, smote by both a perfect headshot and a green blast that engulfed him in a cloud of smoke that cleared to show his mortally wounded body falling slowly to the floor. The Fire Aspect caught the full fury of Gai's attack and fell backward clutching a bleeding wound on his chest, a look of hatred in his eyes as he attempted to staunch the bleeding.

Not even bothering to look behind him, Sabyn casually landed, facing away from the battlefield.

(Delaying my next action to time it with the next opponents attack.)

Vi got up and scanned the room for anything that still looked like a threat.

Soru grunted as he was knocked to the ground by the force projection gauntlets punch. Grimacing in annoyance at the situation he maintained his chain grasp around the dragonbloods arm as he slid on to the man's back to keep him pinned to the ground. He pulled out another knife and attempted to plant it straight through the back of the dragon bloods neck.

The knife slid cleanly through the Dragon-Blood's spine killing him instantaneously. There are no further enemies but were you to stay much longer, more of the lesser Exalts will arrive and numbers have proevn themselves against overwhelming power before...

Vi took a final look around and then replaced the spent bullets in her gun. "I have no idea who you all are, but given that you are not exactly friends of the Wyld Hunt I'd advise that we go." she then said, looking at Sih in a To the ship? look.

Gai nodded in agreement, banishing his armour back to elsewhere (1 mote) and carefully stowing his daiklaive back in his bag lest he draw unwanted attention.

Vi took a closer look at the dead Dragonblooded, inspecting their gear for any clues about them.

(Obligatory look for loot ;P)

The lead Dragon-Blood wore a set of superheavy artifact plate armor made from jade and wielded a larger than average daiklave, whilst his subordinates had articulated artifact plate and also carried daiklaves, all forged from exquisite jade alloy with beautiful inlays. Each of them, did have a small money pouch but no other equipment suggesting an encampment or barracks nearby.

"I'll go outside first." Sabyn announced suddenly, not even turning to look at the others. "If there are more of them, I can keep them distracted while you guys sneak off."

"If there are more of them, they'll probably be Air and Water aspects." Hammer stated plainly as he entered the ruined tavern. "The question is not really if there other Terrestrial Exalts out there. The question is when will the rest get here. So we should probably leave the area before they get here."

Soru remained silent and invisible as he stole all the money pouches from the corpses. He pondered taking one of the dragonblood's blades with him but refrained from doing so. Instead he pulled his knife out of the dragonblood's neck and wiped it off before putting it away. With that done he more carefully examined the group. As far as he could tell the gunslinger and the pirate were companions of sorts whereas the rest of the group had never met one another before.

"With so many of us gathered together. Evading the Wyld Hunt will be difficult." Soru paused as he pondered just ditching the entire group and going his own way. He would certainly have much better odds of evading the Dragonbloods by himself with his skill. But he knew that even a man of his talents wouldn't be able to keep that up forever.

"I am tempted to say we should all just go our separate ways. But there is strength in numbers. Which leads to the next question, of what would be our current destination?" Soru looked at the pirate captain meaningfully, which would be completely missed due to his current state of invisibility.

Asa stands and brushes himself off lightly, glancing around to check for any more civilians- assuming they're aren't any, he drops the act and hops onto the bar, crossing his ankles and looking out at the others.

"So....This isn't something you see everyday."

"What?" Sabyn asked "Epic 12 man battles against the wyld hunt? Your life must be rather boring then."
