What's with all these PC port campaigns lately?

Umbran Climax◊Has Sega suggested any interest in demands of their customers, though? My possibly incomplete understanding of the Dark Souls thing is that a Namco representative suggested a strong enough demand could get DS released for PC.
Unless Sega suggests or outright says "show me", I stand by my "waste of time" (if said indirectly) post.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpPetitions work a lot of the time, particularly for ones with precise goals. You're just more likely to hear about the big ones failing due to people accentuating negative things and focusing on things with stupid and/or vastly open-ended goals.
Pretty sure that was still only after demand for a possible PC port was brought to FROM Software's attention in the first place.
Umbran Climax◊^ Well I heard they did say about may be possible to bring to PC if there's demand, so then out goes the petition!
Really though, if there's a Japanese publisher that would understand PC market well, I think it's Sega. They did own several PC only franchises after all...but really? Not easy to get those listed on PC...

Give me cute or give me...something?Keep in mind you can get a lot of the old Sonic console games (both 2D and 3D) on Steam, so it's not like Sega is adverse to the idea.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)
