"Nintendo Fusion"

So, anyone else heard about this thing Nintendo allegedly is working on?

Heard about it through Machinima.

Apparently "more powerful than the PS 4" and "is a combined home console and hand-held."

Sounds like they're trying to "fuse" the 3DS and Wii U and make it very expensive.

First I've heard of it.

Probably fake, but it might have been a good idea if they didn't just release the Wii U.

Though, I don't doubt they're developing a new console, but I don't think it'll be released anytime soon.

Until anything's proven, best to just discuss it on the Wii U thread instead of in a dedicated thread.

Already covered this in the Wii U thread. But to reiterate, this is all rumor and speculation and unless outright stated officially by Nintendo themselves, I treat it as such. They ned to ride both the Wii U and 3DS out before attemping something like this.

I will say that if this is true, it was a long time coming for them, going back to the Game Cube days.

Well, nevermind them.

This is probably their next-gen prototype, similar to the Nintendo Revolution for the Wii or the Nintendo Dolphin for the Gamecube. It'll likely be another five years or so before we hear more about this.
