I bought the box set of the first three games back when it came out but never beat the second game. Beat most of the side quests, though. A friend borrowed it and managed to beat it but I don't think he finished the third one. I remember fighting Choko in the bonus dungeon of the first game and just barely managing to beat her with one character still alive.
Would be nice if the PS 2 sequels showed up on PSN sometime soon...

Somehow you know that the time is right.I do have Twilight of the Spirits and I did rent End of Darkness from a Blockbuster once.
Wish I'd known how rare the games would become or else I would've looked for the early PS 1 games sooner.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).The PS 1 games are only in the US as the boxset. (Speaking of boxsets, I was super lucky and got the Lunar 2 boxset when it was new! I still have the feelies :D Lucia's pendant is never leaving my room!)
The Protomen enhanced my life.Luckily, the PS 1 games were slapped onto the PSN. It's not the most ideal arrangement for some, but I've been playing through 1 recently because of it. It's kind of bland, but I've heard the second one is way better.
Not Three Laws compliant. They were originally going to be one game, but time constraints happened. So 1 was released and was short, and they took the time to make 2 super long and intricate.
it's also got one of the darkest stories in any rpg.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I have Twilight of the Spirits - it's actually quite a good game as far as JRP Gs go. Plus I got it for cheap. I have not played any of the others though.
I owned that one briefly but didn't get very far in it. I ended up trading it when I was low on cash or something. What I remember of it was pretty neat.
Somehow you know that the time is right.
Been playing some Arc The Lad II on the Play Station, courtesy of the boxest.
It's like what would happen if The Protomen made an RPG. WOW is it dark.
