The code that determines whether to show a wiki link in red or blue has been told that This Troper is a nonexistent page.

Does anybody actually know what coding is used to make "This Troper" always be a red link that does exist? Is it put into an HTML class or given an i.d.? Is it a simple case of using style="color:red;"? What exactly makes this code so unique? Thanks in advance! :)
