Interest expressed. Will be back when I come up with an idea for my character.
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Is it possible to do a Planeswalker who never found out about their powers in life, and two, Is it possible to suggest demon concepts?
Good to be back- Name: Atrogath Karnek
- Affinity: Death
- Height/Weight: 7'5"/130lbs
- Appearance:[1]◊
- Planeswalker Appearance:[2]◊
- Powers:
- Can create simple zombies and animate skeletons
- Can kill small creatures (e.g. rats) with a word
- Summon tools for necromantic rituals
- History: Atrogath ignited his spark quite recently and had only begun to grasp the powers it gave him before he was captured. He was a small time necromancy apprentice before his ascension and was a prodigy in the art of death. His master was jealous of his potential and skill and so starved and beat the boy at every minor mistake. After enduring this abuse until he knew he could pass the trials of High Necromancy, Atrogath killed his master, took the tests, and became Court Necromancer to the king of his country, allowing the king to draw on the wisdom of the long deceased in times of trouble.
- Equipment:
- Long black cloak which can be transformed into skeletal wings for limited flight
- Staff (as seen in picture) for directing the magics he utilizes
- Sacrificial Dagger (though to most races would be considered a sword) for use in rituals and for defense
- A heavily ornamented and rune-engraved skull coated in gold for us in rituals
- Light Armor with runes for durability and protection
To answer the first question: technically, you can't, but you can however have it so that he is lying about discovering that he has it. You will have to play it off that he doesn't know he has those powers however. For the second question : Of course. I'm always open to ideas. Just PM them to me.
Atrogath is accepted! The only thing I would fix (you can do this later) is just add a limit to what he can resurrect as a necromancer since at the moment he'd have severe restrictions. Other than that, like I said, he's accepted.
How about only resurrecting human-sized bodies
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?That'll be perfectly fine.

Good to be backDante is accepted!
I might have an idea. No promises of anything coming out of it, but still.
"I do not approve of the fact that my favorite quotes are too long for this character limit." - MeWe are all for woe Xenagos has been banned
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Correct, missed this RP. I'm sorry to inform that Xenagos has been banned from the site.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. The hell did that happen? Or can you not tell us?
Good to be backThey replied in an inadmissible way to a PM from another troper, this coupled with suspicions of their account being that of a ban evader manifested into a ban.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Oh, okay
Good to be back
“Welcome... to Nyx.”
These were the first three words that were spoken to you before entering this place. This travesty. This hell. The abomination that spoke to you before it grasped you and forced you into the bowels of the dirt, and plunged you into the depths of this place called Nyx. There has been nothing but pain, agony and countless suffering since you entered this place.
“What did I do to go here?”
You kept asking yourself this question over and over again, and as you ask yourself that question, you can't help but recount more and more scenarios in which you committed sinister deeds to go here. Some of the deeds you committed would best go unspoken, but you can't help but feel that they were justified. Whether they be done through revenge, justice, or some other excuse, you can't help but FEEL that they were all justified.
Yet... here you are. In the bowels of what some may call 'hell', or something far, far worse than hell. Whatever this god-forsaken place is, you have no choice but to try and leave. Perhaps you can find redemption here and redeem yourself, or perhaps you could find a way to free yourself from this realm by dwelling deeper into this pit of horror.
“Good luck... you fool.”
These words were spoken to you by none other than Death himself as he held you within his mangled talons covered in dirt and blood, before throwing you into the maws of Nyx. You can still remember his ghastly nose-less visage and his shattered chest; bones protruding from his decaying and maggot ridden flesh. His croaking laughter as you entered the gates still haunts you, but was it more a laughter of amusement... or was it of a sadistic nature? To this day you're still unsure, but perhaps it is best you don't dwell upon it.
Nonetheless, you are stuck here alongside others who were foolish enough to be thrown into the same situation as you. However, like you they are special; gifted with something that no ordinary person could comprehend. The power to materialize beings, weapons, and even magic from other worlds that are in tune with your inner element. In life, you could summon fierce elemental dragons, mighty soldiers, legendary treasures, and twirl catastrophic magic at your finger tips; a Planeswalker is what you were called in life. A special and rare being who contained what scholars called a 'spark' inside of you since you were born.
The spark was only given to a rare 1 out of a million, and the odds of that spark 'igniting' was even slimmer. Even with the odds against you, you somehow awakened to your Planeswalker powers and harnessed them as your own. People either feared you, worshiped you, hated you, or even wanted to kill you in life. To them, you were truly a god.
Now look at you. Bound to these chains you are being forced onto the ship of the great demon Charon, The Ferryman of the Damned. You are nothing more than a simple shell of your former self. Stripped of almost all of your powers, you can hardly fight the beings of this wretched place. If you were to take a quick look over the edge, you can see the countless souls of people being burned and skewered in the river below you. All hope is drained from you.
Though, perhaps... just perhaps, you may have a chance if you were to join forces with those who are like you. Those who were capable of the same feats as you in life. If you were all to join forces... then perhaps you could escape your bounds and dwell deeper into the bowels of this place called Nyx, and find a way out of this hell hole.
But be warned. Those around you have committed sin just as you have. Can you trust those around you? Most of all, can they trust you?
“Only time will tell... little fool.”
Welcome to what this game's universe of Hell will be like. This is a RP mainly inspired by Dante's Inferno, Magic The Gathering, and Sword Art Online, but is also inspired by other various sources (such as I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream).
As depicted in the intro, you will be controlling a character who is known as a Planeswalker, a being who is capable of marvelous feats but due to being sent to Nyx is unable to use their truest of powers. Players will begin with only a minuscule of their true powers, but as they dwell deeper into the circles of Nyx and defeat mightier foes, they will be able to access more of their original powers. The goal of the game is this: explore and clear the nine circles of Nyx and reach the very bottom and free all of the trapped souls, along with your own.
Getting there however, is the first challenge.
Horror awaits you. While clearing the nine circles, you will face beings of terror and abominations that you wish you would never have to face... along with the truth of the sins you have faced and committed in life. Whether or not your character survives the insanity all depends upon the choices you make, and how well you can hide your true self.
This is where the second challenge comes along; hiding your sins in life.
As you journey through Nyx, you will have to hide the things that you have done in life from the others, for if the truth comes out of whatever you may have done in life, then surely the others will turn on you. The same goes for them, you can't entirely trust them either for they have committed sins as well... whether or not their sins may or may not amount to yours remains a mystery. You may be the most beautiful woman ever, or you could look like an innocent child but you can never judge a book by its cover.
Now, onto the Character Sheets.
The normal roleplaying rules apply, but I will be asking that you are capable of handling a horror setting, and are able to respect the other players. Come on folks, we're people, not barbaric animals. So if you do have a problem with someone's character or what they did in the RP, don't go all ape-like and start throwing stuff at that person all of a sudden, be civil about it and explain why you don't like what they did or something. If you don't know how to go about it, then come to me and tell me what's bothering you and I will deal with it.
Furthermore, if I notice that someone is constantly causing problems for someone else, or is ruining the fun for the whole group, then I will kindly request that they stop. Two warnings is all you get before I strike you out of the RP.
If there's any questions, concerns, or comments, feel free to ask me. I do hope to invest a hefty amount of time into this, since this is something that I am personally interested in (me being a Dante's Inferno and horror fan and all), so I do hope that this will last.
And well... there you have it. Go nuts people. (Not too nuts though).
