Pronuncing & using names from the Shahnameh on A.U, Sasanians, Help?

First: I really, really, really hope I've got this in the right place. Feel free to kick me if I'm wrong.

Second: I'm taking the don't post it here if you want to publish later thing very seriously, so I am going to be as vague as possible while still making sense.

Okay. I'm writing for an English speaking audience first and foremost because I'm writing in English and I've noticed that native English speakers tend to mangle pronunciation of names from other languages (no offense, I do it myself).

I'm trying to balance getting a true to the Middle Persian transliteration with using spelllings that English speakers will pronounce mostly correctly upon reading them.

I'm also quite worried about messing up severely in the cultural department, as the names I'd picked are all either from the Shahnameh (Shah-nama, Šāhnāmeh, "The Book of Kings", a long epic poem written by the Persian poet Ferdowsi between c. 977 and 1010 CE and is the national epic of Iran - Persia - and the Persian-speaking world), from historical figures (queens, etc) or from other Persian origin mythology (like the 1001 Nights, which probably came from the Hazār Afsān).

Urgh, wall of text.

Could anyone knowledgable about Iran tell me if using the following names, in an Alternate Universe Sasanian Empire that never fell and was never conquered by the Muslims, could be used without offense and which transliterations would be best for non-mangled pronunciation - Sasanians spoke Middle Persian, btw?

Scheherazade, Šeherzada, (Persian transliteration) Šahrzâd or Shahrzād (Persian: شهرزاد‎, šahr + zâd), Šīrāzād, Shahrázád?

Kāveh, Kaveh, Kava (would be named for the mythical blacksmith)

Atossa or Atoosa, Old Persian *Utauθa, and Avestan Hutaosā, Atusa

Rūdāba, Roodabeh, Rudabeh?

Tahmuras, Tahmures, New Persian transliteration Ṭahmūraṯ, older Persian Tahmurat or Tahmurath, from Avestan Taxma Urupa

Also, while I've only seen one transliteration of Keshvād (and can't find much information about this mythical hero) would it be alright to use it?

Is any of this stepping on Iranian toes? (Note: these would all be characters as close to good guys as anyone gets in the story)

Look up what vowel and consonant shifts were influenced by Arabic and which were not. Extrapolate thus.
