A long time ago I remember seeing a UK comic that was set about 4000 years in the future. The world is in a crapsack state, run by some kind of Pan-asian tyranny that has all the world's remaining Caucasians walled up in a reserve and the planet itself is running out of resources despite extensive recyclcing.

The protagonist of the story is the decadent super-rich inheritor of the world's biggest mega-corporation and has been approached by an Indian scientist about making the first hyperspace capable starship in order to leave the dying Earth. The protagonist agrees as the hyperspace drive is based on theories that his grandmother had worked on before being murdered by her rival (the current leader of the world).

The protagonist then has to deal with Caucasian militant rebels, disasters and political opponents while the project is under way and then things go from bad to worse, once the ship has been built.

The comic has been mentioned before in one of the tropes, but it looks like it's disappeared.

Ask at You Know That Show. That is where any "hey, what was that work again?" questions are supposed to go.
