Greetings, tropers. The idea of creating this thread came to my mind after a very unfortunate incident I had with one of my games, Pandora's Tower, and since the forums don't have a thread for these issues (and going to the games' specific threads will put one in risk of spoilers, or (even worse) said threads don't exist or are locked), I came with this idea.

Today (January 10th, 2014, for those reading this in their present times), I was trying to play the last two tower areas of the games. I was already aware that there's a glitch rendering these towers inaccessible, but supposedly it was only meant to possibly happen after unlocking the post-tower final level. But I hadn't even finished the two tower areas before it and the game froze every time I tried to enter. In no less than four consecutive attempts, I was forced to unplug the Wii since it was unable to reset or turn off.

Last night I played these two areas normally, but I had to return outside because I had to give food to a character. I then saved and quit the game. In my next playthrough session, it was when the freezes started. According to some Game FA Qs topics, this apparently happens because of a poorly coded port during the game's localizaion to the Americas (the game had long been released in the rest of the world), but I'm not sure what to do now since the only glitch solution known is for when the problem happens after beating these two towers and unlocking the last area.

Does anybody know what can I do? I really want to finish this game, but this bug is being too much of a trouble and makes me regret having purchased such a defectuous version of the game.

Rather unfortunate for a game like Pandoras Tower. Niche games don't get patches :<

I hav been reading several alternative solutions in Game FA Qs, but I'm not sure which one is the most reliable.

One says you have to wait about 7 seconds before choosing either of the two towers because the glitch seems to be loading-based. Another user says you have to sleep 12 hours. I dunno, I really want to know first exactly what triggers the glitch. That will surely help one find the solution.

A fairly big one for Quest 64 is the Blue Cave Glitch. This isn't that often seen for various reasons, however;

In order to it, you use the Spell called Rock Shower on a bunch of Skelebats. The catch is, though, it only works when you enter Blue Cave from the regular entrance. The game itself cannot handle it for some reason. It seems to overload the data on the game itself, as this is present in emulated copies as well. This appears to not work on Eletale Monsters, but I can only confirm it via an emulated copy. If you enter Blue Cave from Crystal Valley instead of Larapool(Larapool is the regular entrance), this glitch doesn't often happen.

I first thought it was just an overloaded n64, but as noted, it's not the case. I have not figured out a true solution to this other than "don't do it".

Alright, so I read a solution on Game FA Qs about the glitch in Pandora's Tower. I've tried it around 7 times and in 6 of them it has worked! Apparently, the NTSC version of the game has problems loading the two towers at the same time, so the trick is to wait before choosing either tower, and then some more before confirming the choice. With this the game should load the towers properly. I'll later see if this also works for the other way the glitch occurs (after unlocking the last tower).

Hope this helps.
